BE AWARE!

My review for iberostar.com BE AWARE!! These people will take your reservation money and will not refund it even if you change your dates. Tried contacting the hotel directly and won't even take my calls. The lady in charge of reception - Leslie Barbieri - didn't even try to understand my situation and the reason why I changed my reservation dates. All in all I'm out of $1200.00 and no resolution from Iberostar in Lima, Peru. Lesson learned

DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY ON THIS SCAM…

My review for iberostar.com DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY ON THIS SCAM OF A PLACE. Here's a quick summary if you do not wish to read my paragraph:-staff was only friendly if they think they'll get money from you-they have peddlers at every corner (this was somewhat of a culture stock to us) and even when you said no they would follow you-its way too crowded-you can't reserve anything. You have to wake up extremely early to try to get seats at the beach but good luck-place is gross-one day we came back from a fishing trip because my husband was severely seasick...once back in the lobby he threw up quite a bit of stomach bile and blood-it wasn't cleaned up and he was laughed at for puking (he didn't drink either, he was just very sick and close to needing a hospital)-food was NASTY-it was cold, tough, has no flavor, we even got to the buffet when they opened. All food (even chicken, fried rice, beef) taste like fish-we saw cockroaches in the buffets-only one buffet was open at a time-theres no 24/7 food or room service-small shops in the middle of restort were selling lost stuff like people sunglasses and hats-you are only allowed 2 reservations to the actual restaurants. You can only go to two and some items on the menu cost you-the "credits" you get are actually just coupons-there is no real conservation. We're very big on that and we're very excited to see what they did there. The ponds and little places were a joke. The "coral lab" they advertise is nothing and no one was even there to say anything about it.-most of the things you would want to do are at the better resorts, Punta Cana just has food and alcohol...but you have to pay for the nicer stuff. This place was like a living hell. It was as if the moment my husband and me arrived we were easy targets since it was our first time out of the states. The moment we set foot in the lobby nothing was explained to us about the app or anything, just given our room keys and said "oh first time, we will have you come for a special breakfast." Okay cool. We get to our room-tv didn't work and the bathroom was kind of dirty. The following day we go to the lobby to try to get some explanations on now things worked and they just went back to the breakfast and said just use the app. Not friendly or helpful at all. Come to find out this "breakfast" is actually a "subscription" thing they have and it's basically a time share-a total waste of money and MAJOR scam. They kept saying that the breakfast was nicer food but it ended up being the same extremely gross food we had at our own resort. We were passed around to 6 different people during that dumb sales pitch and once they finally got the hint we weren't going to buy into it, they left us to walk back to our resort without anyway of knowing which way to go and in the rain. During said stupid pitch the promised 70 CASH. Well you get IberoCASH instead, only good for the restort. At the point we are begging for our travel agent to find us a way out of here. We went to dinner at not the buffet and THIS IS THE ICING ON THE CAKE. Not everything is included in this "all inclusive" restort. At the restaurant my husband got lobster which was 65 US dollars. So once we got the bill we tried to give them the IberoCASH, and even the room money in case that's how they charged it. The waiter said no, cash only. He made me stay until my husband ran to our room to get the money. It was only when after the waiter counted it, he then took our room number. Furious, we go to the lobby to figure out what the hell this place is and they dismissed us. It was not until I lost of crap in the lobby balling loudly yelling "I hate it here" over and over that someone finally helped. Even when we explained they still dismissed it and everything else we explained-somehow we got our money back after about 40-60 of fighting and me balling my eyes out on front of people. That's when we were able to leave this nightmare. We hardly left our room due to how much anxiety this place gave us

Avoid Iberostar Grand Rose Hall

My review for iberostar.com edit:- We did receive a courtious reply from the manager on 10th Feb which was welcomeWe stayed at Iberostar Grand Rose Hall, Montego Bay, Jamaica. We had issues every single day of our week long stay. Things that should have been sorted just weren't. Our holiday was more stressful trying to sort the issues, than our normal daily life. I was given the name of the hotel manager - Mr David Lopez, and had a conversation with him, whilst staying at the hotel. He gave me his e-mail address and asked me to write once I was home. He asked for concise details of all the issues we encountered. We did this nine days ago, but have never received a reply, let alone an acknowledgement that he has read our e-mail. I would avoid this company. They lie to make you go away, and do not deliver on their booking conditions. This was not a cheap option for us, and we feel we wasted the entire amount that we spent on the holiday.

As a returning guest, my recent visit to Iberostar Founty Agadir was sadly not up to par with my previous experience. Opting for a festive stay during the Christmas season, I was anticipating the same exceptional service and ambiance that had captivated me before. However, this time, I was met with disappointment. The noticeable upgrades, like the lavish marble floor in the lobby, failed to compensate for the decline in overall standards. The once lively atmosphere was overshadowed by flat beer, rationed wine, and underwhelming food quality at the buffet. Regrettably, these shortcomings led to discomfort and illness among some guests, including my husband, significantly impacting our holiday. Navigating the crowded common areas posed a challenge, especially during the evenings when finding a seat at the bar or lounge was nearly impossible. Despite my limited mobility and prior arrangement for a nearby room, we were assigned accommodations far from convenient, hindering both accessibility and comfort. While the room itself exuded comfort and charm, the overcrowded nature of the hotel compromised our ability to fully enjoy the amenities. Despite a picturesque view of the sea, the impractical location of our room overshadowed its beauty and convenience. Reflecting on this experience, it saddens me to say that I would not consider revisiting Iberostar Founty Agadir, even at a discounted rate. The memories of this trip, marred by unmet expectations and logistical challenges, have unfortunately overshadowed the positive moments from our previous stays.

Happy days

My review for iberostar.com The beech is one step away from the rear of the hotel. All staff polite helpfully. Entertainment was super, belly dancing, magician and Evan a tombola.... my son and daughter won 2 day's in a row. Special thanks to Fifi and the rest of the Entertainment staff. Intend to visit Dec 2024. Rooms cleaned everyday water teabags and toilet accessories replaced everyday. Security was at the entrance, everyone's checked before entering the hotel. Can't wait to go back. Visited Tunisia

Hygiene Desaster in SPA and generally very poor services

I recently had the most incredible experience at Iberostar. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The spa services were top-notch; I spent 90 minutes there and left feeling completely rejuvenated. The staff were attentive and the facilities well-maintained. It's clear that they prioritize cleanliness and hygiene, as I never once felt uneasy during my visit. What truly stood out to me was the exceptional level of service provided. Every staff member, from the reception to the restaurant and even the golf club, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. I felt like a valued guest every step of the way. The attention to detail, especially in the restaurants where they would freshly prepare everything according to my preference, was truly remarkable. However, amidst the paradise, I encountered a worrisome issue that I feel compelled to address. During my son's beach wedding, I suffered from dehydration due to the intense island heat. This unfortunate incident shed light on a critical concern – the lack of proper medical care at the resort. The distance of the medical personnel and the absence of essential equipment, such as a stretcher, significantly hampered the assistance I urgently needed. While I understand that dehydration is a common occurrence in such a climate, the unavailability of prompt and adequate medical support was distressing. Iberostar Agadir : Time to Return Again and Again

As a group of 35-plus golfers and 5 non-golfers, our recent 7-day stay at Iberostar Agadir was nothing short of extraordinary. Every single one of us unanimously agreed that it's a place we want to return to, time and time again. The friendly staff, the quality of the bedrooms, and the fantastic all-inclusive buffet near the pool all exceeded our expectations. One thing that truly stood out was the impeccable cleanliness of the pool area – no stray rubbish or uncollected glasses in sight. And the proximity to the sandy beach just added to the overall appeal of the resort. The evening entertainment was top-notch, rivaling what you'd find in London's West End. I also have to give a special shoutout to the hotel manager for their attentive service and the ease of exchanging money at competitive rates throughout the day and night. Our spacious double rooms were equipped with five-star quality bathroom showers, and the water fountain near the rooms was a thoughtful touch, allowing us to fill up our bottles with refreshingly cold water. Iberostar Agadir : Time to Return Again and Again

My review for iberostar.com The stay at the Iberostar Agadir over 7 days was superb for us 35 plus golfers and 5 non golfers. All 40 had positive feedback all saying time to return!! From friendly staff to quality of bedrooms and great all inclusive buffet and food near pool side. The cleanliness of the pool area , with no rubbish or empty uncollected employees glasses. Sandy beach is minutes away at the back of the hotel , well worth the dip in the sea. Evening entertainment again was up to west end quality. Thumbs up to the hotel manger , exchange of money at the reception throughout the day and night in all currencies at competitive rates. Large double rooms with 5 star quality bathroom showers , water fountain near the rooms for filling up water bottles with cold icy water , air conditioning worked , reception assisted in all queries we raised.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Iberostar Agadir, and my experience was nothing short of delightful. They were not only efficient but also incredibly friendly, making every meal a memorable experience. While the hotel itself is lovely, with a beautiful pool area, I did find the constant loud music to be a bit overwhelming at times. I longed for a quiet space to relax and unwind, away from the hustle and bustle of the entertainment team. It would have been nice to have a tranquil retreat within the hotel grounds. Additionally, I found the bar area to be a bit cramped and crowded, which made it difficult to find a peaceful spot to enjoy a drink. I had the pleasure of staying at the Iberostar Selection Paseo de Gracias during a short break to Barcelona, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. Having had a fantastic experience at another Iberostar property in Tenerife, I had high expectations for this hotel, and I was not disappointed. The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect for us as we wanted to explore the city on foot, and the central location of the hotel made it incredibly convenient to visit all the main sites. Despite its central location, the minimal traffic noise made for a peaceful stay, and we were able to enjoy stunning views of Plaza Cataluna from our room. The room itself was impeccably clean, modern, and comfortable. The quiet and efficient air conditioning made for a restful night's sleep, and the integrated TV in the mirror added a touch of luxury to the room. While we couldn't find English TV channels, the overall comfort of the room more than made up for it. If I could give a negative star I…

My review for iberostar.com If I could give a negative star I would. Firstly the check in and out staff at Alcudia park are quite rude. No interest in assisting with queries. The room was tiny despite the huge price and not well maintained. No change of towels for the last 3 days. The food was poor and the management of a busy restaurant was not positive. The key bracelet didn’t work and was a waste of time as we had to keep going back to reception. Overall experience was poor much better value with alternative hotelGroups.
