We paid extra for better seats on our flights to and from Paris and Nairobi, only to have our seats changed at the last minute, despite assurances from Air France that they wouldn't be. This cost us £210.00, and on top of that, our rucksacks didn't arrive in Nairobi with us, forcing us to delay our plans and incurring additional expenses for accommodation and meals. The customer service was unhelpful, and despite reaching out multiple times over 11 months, we received no assistance or compensation for the inconvenience and financial loss we experienced. This experience has been extremely stressful, and I cannot recommend Air France or KLM after this dreadful ordeal.
