I recently purchased the Brother SDX 1250 from creaplot.nl and, unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. The delivery was delayed, and when I finally received the machine, I encountered immediate issues with the adhesive mat. It simply wouldn't stick, resulting in the machine dragging it through with noise and causing damage. To make matters worse, the machine no longer recognizes the mat. I've exchanged approximately 25 emails with the customer service team, and despite the machine being less than three months old and the issues occurring from day one, the only resolution offered is to send it to Brother in Groningen. This is unacceptable for a nearly €600 machine. The lack of assistance and the damage to the mat have been immensely frustrating. While the machine itself offers many possibilities, the inability to load the mat quickly turns enjoyment into exasperation. Additionally, the price of €30 for a new mat, and the fact that the machine causes damage to it, is simply unacceptable for a product of this caliber. I have expressed my concerns from the beginning and the response has been unsatisfactory. If I had been aware of the poor customer service and lack of accountability, I would not have made this purchase. I have always received better service from other retailers, especially considering the price of this product. It is incredibly disheartening that the store is now deflecting responsibility after three months of frustration. A machine that is non-operational from the start should be replaced, not repaired. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale for potential customers. The lack of support and accountability for a faulty product has been a deeply disappointing experience.
