Selfish and without regard to customers
I have been a loyal customer of deverevenues.co.uk for years, and until recently, I have always had a positive experience with their catered training rooms. However, I recently encountered a situation that left me deeply disappointed. We had made a booking for October 2020, only to find ourselves in the midst of a lockdown that drastically altered the services De Vere Venues could provide. Despite this, they demanded that we fulfill our financial commitment, even though the services they could offer were not suitable for our needs or the needs of our clients. Their adherence to government guidelines was their justification, yet it did not address the significant gap between the service we contracted for and what they were able to deliver. The lack of transparency and their disregard for our concerns were disheartening. It pained me to realize that even as a long-standing client, I was subjected to such treatment. I found their behavior to be selfish and dismissive of the impact their actions had on loyal customers. As a result, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend entering into any agreements with them. It is my hope that De Vere Venues can reevaluate their approach and prioritize their customers' well-being and satisfaction in the future.
