It wasn't until October 5, 2020 (2 months later!) that NORMA24 finally provided the return label. We promptly sent the defective pump back to Ihp. However, the response we received on October 12, 2020, was disheartening. They claimed the warranty was void because we had cut off the plug, even though it was done for proper outdoor installation. Despite explaining the situation and suggesting a probable device leak as the cause of the issue, our pleas fell on deaf ears. The manufacturer's refusal to inspect the pump further to verify the fault was frustrating. This experience made us question the manufacturer's accountability and commitment to quality. We expected more support and involvement from NORMA24, our purchasing partner, rather than being caught in a back-and-forth between them and Mauk.
