My review for irobot.com Let me preface this review by saying this: if you're looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that actually vacuums, look elsewhere. The iRobot 7+ is a monument to mediocrity, a robotic Roomba wannabe that wouldn't know clean floors if they tripped over them. From the moment this dust bunny on wheels arrived, it was clear I'd gotten myself into trouble. Constant manual intervention? More like constant babysitting! This thing gets lost easier than a politician's morals, requiring more wrangling than a herd of cats. And don't even get me started on the updates. They're like a bad acid trip, erasing your carefully tracked item information and shoving new ones down your throat faster than a used car salesman. Replaced a filter yesterday? Doesn't matter, here's a notification for a new one! Talk about planned obsolescence on steroids. But the true cherry on this dumpster fire sundae is the customer service. Imagine a team of robots reading from a script, programmed to offer zero help or assistance. That's the iRobot call center experience. They're about as useful as a chocolate teapot, and just as likely to leave you wanting to scream. My review for irobot.com If I could give less than one star I would have. What customer service, there is none. I waited 6 weeks to get an order that was supposed to be with me in 9 days. They didn’t care! There is no way to escalate a problem! There is no way you can speak to a supervisor, utterly useless. C

Horrible customer service
My review for irobot.com Listen to the reviews. The products are pretty good, but the customer service is horrific. As soon as your robot has an issue, they'll take ages to reply, 'guess' at what the problem is, and require you to buy new parts that don't fix the problem. We've paid over £500 in recommended parts to fix the problem, and now have to spend another £50 to send it in to find out how expensive a full repair will be. Please buy from another company. We certainly will be. J

The customer service is a joke
My review for irobot.com The customer service is a joke. I was having an issue with the ir sensors detecting dark carpets as cliffs. So I email customer service to see if they have any solution that isn't "get rid of the carpets". When they finally replied it was just to tell me I should have bought one of their newer models. I expected the answer was probably not going to solve my issue, but frankly I'm annoyed they tried to upsell me instead. D

Do NOT buy an iRobot
My review for irobot.com The Roomba J9 and M6 bundle I bought was hoping would save us hours of cleaning and free up our time. Unfortunately we've been spending a lot of time babysitting these devices. The M6 Brava just stops at random, and generally doesn't find its base station. It gets lots frequently also. The Roomba j9 started off ok but was messing up our maps. Then around when the 30 day warranty was up, it decided it was just going to go back to the home base. This happens almost every time it cleans now. I've tried various strategies, resets and so on, and it just keeps going back to this state. I decided I'm done with babysitting these devices and to return. I bought directly from iRobot, and they said it'll probably be ok because the return window has only just passed (it's only just over the return period). Then they say it's not possible to return... this is appalling as we're just outside of the 30 day return period. Do NOT buy from these people. They don't care about your time, or their own reputation just taking your money. This is our first robo vac system and we'd never buy from iRobot again. Be warned.. C

We purchased an air 3-1 air purifier…
My review for irobot.com We purchased an air 3-1 air purifier from iRobot a little over a year ago. Unfortunately, we have run into trouble as the filter needs to be replaced. However, iRobot no longer offers support or sells replacement filters for the air purifier in the UK. They do sell the filters in the US, but they do not ship to the UK. Having paid more than £1000 for an air purifier that we cannot find replacement filters for is incredibly frustrating. Furthermore, we experienced absolutely no customer service or support from iRobot. We waited on hold for over an hour trying to speak to a consultant but ended up hanging up in frustration. This experience has left us quite disappointed, and we have decided not to use iRobot in the future due to their lack of support and customer service. C

Shocking customer service
My review for irobot.com Shocking customer service. The vacuum cleaner was left on front porch and went missing, not their fault. But ever since then customer service has been laughable. After over waiting an hour spoke to "George" amazingly every time since then when I've called I spoke to George every time. Approval for a refund or replacement has been sat with his manager for over 2 weeks. No communication from their side, will leave with credit card company to chase. Pathetic excuse for customer service. E

My review for irobot.com Don’t bother buying any of their products. I took care of my, changing out expensive parts, and only worked for a year. When I called for help, they told me I could get a 100.00 credit for a 600.00 product I used for one year…. C

extremelly unreliable
My review for irobot.com I have had several of these very expensive robots, both hoovers and mopers. There are great when they work, but maintenance is extorsionate, and despite their very high price (I paid £900 for the hoover), in my experience they only last for around 1-2 years before you have to start fixing them, and expect to pay around £200-£250 per repair. Constant error messages, constant reseting, and ufortunately, after 1-2 years not even reseting fixes issues, they need to go to workshop. If you can afford to fork £200 per year in maintenance, buy one, otherwise, look for alternatives. I have just received my roomba J7 from the workshop to fix error 26 for £225. Now I have two errors in my brava: Uneven ground & fill the water container. I have been able to fix fill the water container, but the uneven ground requires completely dismanteling the robot.... is either that or pay the workshop to do it at a price of £150 + parts.. After paying around £1300 just under 2 years ago, I need another £400 at least to keep the robots working.... A

Never have I experienced such a useless…
My review for irobot.com Never have I experienced such a useless service, I been 2 weeks on call backs trying to have a conversation, finally I spoke with someone who didn't have a clue, YouTube was just more useful. the saga continues. I own 7 products in total and they are brilliant, however the customer service is appalling. worst customer service I have experienced and the most expensive product. My Robot is dead despite looking brand new!!!! C
