Bewildered, I turned to Nuance for guidance, only to be met with a baffling request for a purchase receipt of the upgrade. In a whirlwind of emails, I unearthed the golden email dated 1st September 2016, a beacon of recognition for my upgrade purchase. Questions swirled in my mind - why did their system falter in recognizing my legitimate upgrade purchase? What if I hadn’t kept meticulous records of my transactions? Should a direct purchase from Nuance not be readily visible in their archives? As doubts lingered, a glimmer of realization dawned upon me - the importance of preserving receipts ad infinitum. Though shrouded in moments of doubt and exasperation, my experience with Nuance eventually culminated in resolution. ***ALERT*** PLEASE BEWARE
My review for nuance.com ***ALERT*** A class action lawsuit should've been filed against this company or should be in the immediate works. Breakdown: 1) purchased the CD in 2015 (worked well for a few years), 2) purchased the online version (worked well for a few months), 3) purchased another CD in 2023 that will not accept the serial number that's clearly on the envelope. Lastly, the customer service is nonexistent. J

Shipment failure and no help from customer services
My review for nuance.com I ordered and paid for the Dragon Professional 16 download plus a microphone on 9 March 2023. I am still waiting for the microphone 64 days later, and despite multiple attempts to communicate with Nuance, it remains outstanding. DHL has just told me this week that I need to pay a further £55.40 duty/tax before it can be delivered. The microphone cost £108.32. Nuance doesn't appear to be interested. S

Had problem caused by Microsoft – Nuance gave me a solution!
My review for nuance.com Had problem caused by Microsoft – they basically changed how to do comments on a word document. After calling Nuance and speaking to Andres – he sorted a solution for me. The great thing about Nuance is that you can get to somebody very quickly and they will attempt to solve your problem – and also follow-up. Too many companies can't even be bothered to answer the phone… A

My review for nuance.com Horrible customer service, auto-renew annual contracts despite requests to cancel. They “managed” Dragon Medical account for my private practice that I had to close due to COVID. Over 2+ years and numerous requests, they could NEVER set up an account for me to set up auto-pay - people … argh! STAY AWAY!! B

Customer service is non-existent you will find it impossible to get a refund for faulty products such as their PowerMic. I would give them no stars with no hope of improvement D

My review for nuance.com I considered giving 2/5 because of the high accuracy of their software and the ability to use it throughout an OS. But it's exactly that and the fact that there's no competition in the space (unless you are keen on having everything you say sent to Microsoft or Google) that is probably the cause for why they just don't care. My review for nuance.com Absolute shower. Unhelpful rubbish support. Everything's 'not us - call a different line, website, ticket' blah blah. They just want you to go away. My review for nuance.com So i bought a copy of their older software, it works well enough and since I am unemployed I thought I could save a few bucks to get my resume's done etc since I have RSI. They flat refused to support me unless I bought the $300 version. I want to say many expletives but their actions spoke so loud. I have used them for over 15 years, now I hope that free transcription software drives them out of business. They literally said "your problem unless you pay an extra $200 for a pro license". Wow. Update: A kind soul locally let met get a copy of the old installation package and I used my serial number to activate it.
