Review Description: The product itself is great, including the open Rest API. However, the process for setting up payment processing via 3rd parties is a total drag.You are forced to sign up (create an account) for their Teachable Payments (serviced via Stripe Express), then you need to make a support request to disable this, and THEN you are able to plug in your existing payment processor (in my case, Stripe).This is unnecessary and an obvious dark pattern to try to encourage more users to use their built-in payment processing

Review Description: Untrustworthy company. Every year Teachable removes features from the plan. I pay annually. Which means I've paid for the features advertised for at least one year. But Teachable doesn't honor the plan. In their T & C it gives them the right to remove their features without notice. This is a company that is untrustworthy. They have given less and less and less over the 6 years I've been with them. Its hard to leave once you've put so much work into building your school. Do yourself a favor choose another provider.

Review Description: I enrolled on course with a trusted provider. I accessed the course once but when I went back online the course had disappeared from my schools. This has happened twice (with two different schools). I contacted the providers of the course who did all they could but I still can't access the course anymore. I have restarted computer, cleared cache, tried a different device. No luck. Accessed once, now constant message saying login invalid to the specific course via teachable but I can see all my other courses. What is going on?

Review Description: Teachable is a decent platform if you have a tech team to help you when things go awry. It's fairly easy to set up a course on Teachable, but the support is quite limited. There are persistent issues with students being able to log in, as well as issues that Teachable doesn't normally help with if you need assistance. Some glitches seem to be ongoing. I'm considering a different platform, especially since they are increasing their pricing by about 50%.
