Our company operates a fleet of 9 Mercedes Benz vans and cars, all purchased brand new with original Mercedes warranty and additional insurance coverage. Despite our initial confidence in the brand, we have faced numerous disappointments, particularly with the deteriorating quality of the vehicles and the declining level of service. Just three months ago, one of our Mercedes Citan vans encountered an air conditioning issue, resulting in a prolonged and frustrating repair process at the authorized Mercedes workshop in Padova. Despite our persistent communication and follow-ups, it took an entire month to have the van back in operational condition. Astonishingly, a similar problem befell another Citan van just two months later, leading to another extended ordeal with no immediate resolution. After spending over a month at the Mercedes Trivellato workshop, we were informed that the required replacement parts were unavailable, leaving us without a functioning vehicle for more than two months. Throughout this time, we continued to bear the financial burden of leasing payments while struggling to maintain our work schedules. This experience has deeply shaken our trust in the brand, especially considering the significant investment we have made in our Mercedes vehicles over the years. It is with a heavy heart that I must warn others against the diminishing quality and service standards of Mercedes Benz Italia. As we prepare to expand and update our fleet next year, we will regrettably be exploring alternative options outside of the Mercedes Benz range.
