When I referred to their terms and conditions, I was bluntly directed to a link to a Federal Court of Justice (BGH) ruling (Urt. v. 12.10.2016, Az. VIII ZR 55/15). This response indicates a systemic pattern of behavior. Whether the cited ruling is relevant should be legally examined. However, why are customers not informed of these conditions before making a purchase? It seems that the products may be of such questionable quality that such tactics are necessary. In conclusion, this has been a deeply disappointing and costly experience. I will certainly steer clear of AC-Schnitzer (a company of Kohl-Automobile) in the future.
