Review Title: How is this sham of a corrupt company still a thing

Review Description: How is this company still a thing. Unbelievably corrupt. 100% scam artists who cancel your flight weeks in advance for no reason so you’re forced to book another more expensive one and then after weeks of communications you are still waiting on a flight refund that they charge 35€ fees per person. This is in the “small print” total con job. I’ve never had such a bad experience with any other airline. They should be audited and closed down.

Review Title: Won't refund airport tax, despite their written policy

Review Description: Their policy is that they will refund airport tax if you don't take a flight. I have tried multiple times with AVA and am told they can't refund airport tax because the flight wasn't cancelled. This is not what their written policy says about airport tax refunds. I am happy that they cheat me in this small amount, now I can avoid AirAsia in the future.

Review Description: Awful airline. I have had good experiences before but they have gone downhill. Booked flights but had to follow up for 2 days trying to get confirmation. AVA the bot is useless. The queue to speak to an agent was 45 minutes. No way to choose seats or add ons in my case because 1 of the 4 flghts is not with Airasia. I will never book flights with this lot again. Given 1* because there is no option to give none.

Review Description: Absolutely terrible customer service. Once all boarded, I gently asked to be moved close to my partner as, at first, they separated us although we bought the 2 tickets from the same account. The answer was that I had to pay to move to the “hot” seat close to him (although the all row was empty after completing boarding). If not enough, other people just moved to these famous hot seats without even asking and I was told I lied!!!

Review Description: AVOID @airasia. After declaring baggage prices will NOT be higher than the published fees, they are actually charging double in most routes making check in baggage more expensive than ticket prices. BIG SCAM FROM GREEDY AIRLINE. AVOID!!!
