Never EVER 23again!!!!!

My review for Air Transat must be the world's worst international airline! I've flown with them 3 times - never again!!!! They must have the most uncomfortable seats anywhere on the planet - like rocks. The seat space is miniscule; as is the aisle space. An 8 hr flight Toronto - London Gatwick -Toronto is absolute torture! The only saving grace was the cabin flight attendants - they tried hard and were polite. How can an airline in this day and age not provide any TV screens/in-flight entertainment?!?! If you have to fly from London UK to Toronto, then go to Heathrow. Yes, it's not so convenient and more expensive, but BA/Air Canada at least provide a good service. I wouldn't even recommend AirTransat to my worst enemy!! NEVER, NEVER again will I fly with them!!!!!!

To my disbelief, the central section of the airplane seemed to mirror a polar climate, while the front remained relatively normal. Horrible customer support

My review for Horrible customer support. Not a user-friendly company. I would highly, highly encourage to not pick them for the slightly cheaper prices. They only think about making a profit off you and they don't care to get you to your destination. I had high hopes going for them but I was refused boarding by their manager and told to get out of the area because i am in the way or they would call security.

My review for Wow this is really really bad, I’ve had my flight cancelled three days on the trot and then told I had to travel to a different airport, got there after paying two nights hotel rooms and a massive taxi bill to be told the plane has crashed into another plane on the runway at Miami airport???? I advised the manager that when I booked I was lead to believe my rights were under standard terms and conditions to which I was entitled to full refund under section 23(ii) with canadian affair as thats who I paid and booked with.manager said they had group meeting and advised me due to pandemic that terms and conditions have been amended by AIR TRANSAT.and I advised her i never booked through air trsnsat under pandemic conditions and that standard conditions should still apply to myself.she agreed with me and told me she totally understands what I'm saying but could only give a voucher AS THAT'S WHAT AIR TRANSAT HAS DECIDED. NEVER BOOK WITH ANY OF THESE COWBOY COMPANIES. THEY BOTH MAKE A CHOCOLATE TEAPOT LOOK USEFUL.

My review for We booked through Air Transat and I just called to request a bassinet and they tell me it’s an extra 72€ for each seat so an additional 216€ since we’re three passengers (one toddler) as these are considered extra leg room seats and are “highly coveted.” This is EXTREMELY unfair to families. I have never encountered this through any other airline and if I would have known I wouldn’t have booked through them.

Uncomfortable but cheap.

My review for We flew Gatwick to Vancouver in August 3019 and returned from Calgary. The outgoing flight was an hour late. The return flight was on time. We wanted I'm Vancouver well over an hour for our luggage. On board the seats are very hard, most uncomfortable. Entertainment ok but going out only had 11 films to choose from, we had 55 on therefore. You need to provide your own headphones or buy on board. The food is very minimalistic. You'll get one drinks round, sift drinks free beer etc to buy. Meals and snacks are minimal too. We took some sausage rolls on board and were very glad we did. Also the staff are very minimal, a bit formal, almost rude. Definitely unfriendly and unhelpful. You hardly ever see them. However the flight costs were a fair bit cheaper than the others so you get what you pay for, Don't expect a comfortable seat, good food or friendly staff. But you'll get there safely and at a decent price.

Unable to find website to buy baggage for baggage-less Air Transat ticket bought via MyTrip

I recently had a frustrating experience when trying to purchase baggage for my Air Transat flight through MyTrip. Despite booking a return ticket from Athens to Toronto, I realized that baggage was not included. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to add baggage to my booking through the MyTrip website. Upon attempting to do so on the Air Transat website, I encountered the same issue – I was prompted to enter a Confirmation Number that I hadn't been provided by MyTrip. After multiple failed attempts, I resorted to calling Air Transat, which proved to be both time-consuming and expensive due to the international call. It was only through speaking with a representative at Air Transat that I learned it was impossible to book baggage directly through their website if the ticket was purchased via a third party, such as MyTrip. This was incredibly frustrating, as neither MyTrip nor Air Transat provided clear information about this limitation on their respective websites or confirmation letters. Despite my disappointment, the customer service representative at Air Transat did little to alleviate my frustration. Rather than acknowledging the issue and seeking a resolution, I was met with statements absolving Air Transat of any responsibility for MyTrip's shortcomings. This experience left me feeling exasperated and disheartened, as I had expected more from both MyTrip and Air Transat, given their prominent positions within the travel industry. The lack of transparency and accountability was truly disappointing. In the future, I hope that both MyTrip and Air Transat will take proactive measures to rectify such shortcomings and prevent other travelers from experiencing the same frustrations.
