Will never be shopping with this

Will never be shopping with this company again I ordered a 400 bag over a month ago and still no refund they had trouble with their shipping company delivering even though I had purchased shoes 2 weeks prior to this order that arrived within 5 days of ordering. After 2 weeks no delivery I queried this they told me I had to contact their shipping company when contacting they told me they couldnt deliver to my address.. upon contacting Ancient Greek sandals I was told that I had to give the company more information which was ridiculous as I had received a parcel a week prior from exact the same company. By this point I had enough of dealing with the cheap laboured shipping and asked for a refund so they could now deal with the poor shipping. I made my order 9Th of august and the last I was updated after a few emails not replied about refund I was told on the 8Th of September that my bag had reached Greece and was in customs its now 14TH September and still no refund Dont waste your time with this company..

I bought the shoes in the winter sale

I bought the shoes in the winter sale for 80 and I wore them this summer. I can only compare this to this one time I wore plastic shoes from hm for about 30. I had skin rashes and blisters after a short twenty minutes long walk.

I bought sandals 143.50 with a thick

I bought sandals 143.50 with a thick sole after just one day of wearing pieces fell off the sole. For this amount you really do expect good quality that will last a few seasons. Delivery was fast and good. I sent an email to customer service. Definitely no second purchase from Ancient Greek sandals for me

AVOID

Bought some sandals which fit and looked great when I first tried them on but as soon as I wore them my feet were torn to shreds and covered in blisters. I reached out to the company who said the sandals were made of PVC and since they were worn theres nothing they can do. AVOID at all costs Ive just wasted 80

Too expensive for quality

Their sizing is so hard to nail down. I thought they were cute sustainable sandals but they wear down so fast. They are very comfortable I just wish for the price they lasted longer

Not worth the cash

Love the comfort style sandals but they are NOT built to last. Fall apart within a few months. I tried to get their repair service suspicious they even have one but they said I was out of the terms and it was normal wearandtear. Unfortunately a bit of a ripoff

UK buyers beware of nonrefundable customs and duties when returning your orders

Navigating the Pitfalls of NonRefundable Customs and Duties A Cautionary Tale for UK BuyersAs a seasoned online shopper I always pride myself on conducting thorough research before making a purchase. However I recently found myself entangled in a frustrating predicament that left me bewildered and disheartened. I was compelled to share my cautionary tale to alert fellow UK buyers of the unforeseen costs and challenges associated with returning orders from international retailers. My harrowing experience began with the excitement of ordering a pair of exquisite sandals from a reputable international brand. Little did I know that this seemingly straightforward transaction would unravel into a disheartening ordeal. Upon receiving the sandals it became apparent that they did not meet my expectations. Eager to initiate a return I diligently reviewed the retailers website FAQs and Terms Conditions only to find no mention of nonrefundable customs and duties for returned orders. Armed with confidence in my consumer rights I promptly dispatched the sandals for return bearing the 12 return shipping fee. To my dismay I was astounded to discover that in addition to this incurred cost the nonrefundable customs and duties amounted to a staggering 35 resulting in a substantial loss when compared to the original purchase price of 140. It was a bitter pill to swallow knowing that I had diligently adhered to the official guidelines provided by the retailer yet found myself burdened with unanticipated financial implications. Seeking recourse I fervently reached out to the customer service department emphasizing the discrepancy between the information provided at the time of purchase and the subsequent amendments made to the website. My disappointment deepened when the response I received was dismissive and unyielding with the refusal to acknowledge or remedy the situation. Adding insult to injury their actions reeked of duplicity as they surreptitiously updated their website to include the nonrefundable nature of customs and duties leaving me feeling disheartened and disillusioned. Reflecting on this disheartening experience I am compelled to caution my fellow UK consumers about the perils of nonrefundable customs and duties when returning orders from international retailers. Despite my prior experiences with brands that ship from the EU this unexpected turn of events has shattered my confidence in the fairness and transparency of certain retailers practices. In conclusion my fervent advice to all UK buyers is to exercise vigilance and discernment when navigating the intricate web of crossborder online shopping. While this episode has left me disillusioned I am hopeful that by sharing my story I can empower others to approach their online purchases with enhanced awareness and resilience. Let us stand united in advocating for greater transparency and consumer protection within the realm of international ecommerce.

Wrong sandals delivered very bad customer service

Discovering the perfect pair of sandals can be a feat in itself but when a mishap occurs its the customer service that can truly make or break the entire shopping experience. Unfortunately I recently found myself in such a predicament after receiving an incorrect pair of sandals from Ancient Greek Sandals. While I understand that errors can happen in any business it was the subsequent handling of the situation by the companys customer service team that truly left a sour taste in my mouth. Upon realizing that the sandals I received were not the ones I had eagerly anticipated I reached out to Ancient Greek Sandals customer service. What transpired next was far from the empathetic and understanding assistance I had hoped for. Instead of being met with a human touch and a genuine willingness to resolve the issue I was met with what felt like automated and unhelpful responses that did little to reassure me. The lack of personalized assistance and the impression that I was communicating with a chat bot rather than a human representative left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Its disheartening to encounter such a low level of customer service from a brand that I had held in high esteem. Despite the initial excitement of finding a reputable brand like Ancient Greek Sandals the entire experience has left me questioning the value of exceptional customer service. While I understand that no business is immune to occasional blunders its the response and resolution that truly define a companys commitment to its customers. In conclusion its regrettable to see a brand of such prestige allow the quality of its customer service to fall short. I hope that Ancient Greek Sandals recognizes the importance of personalized and attentive customer care to complement their wellcrafted products. As for my own experience I can only hope that others have a more positive encounter and receive the exemplary service that every customer deserves.

Returnexchange process from hell

Their sandals are super cute but unfortunately run a full size too small. This would be nice to state somewhere on their website considering how absolutely horrible the return process is. Twice I tried to pay the 10 euros for return shipping for none of them to go through. Sent an email to customer service to their defense very quick to reply but was told to just use Paypal. If I can use a credit card to buy the sandals why cant I use it to return them Whatever I made a Paypal account and originally wanted to exchange them for a bigger size. Couldnt do so because the option was taken away from me for some unknown reason. At this point I dont care and Im too frustrated to call them again. In the end if you buy some sandals that fit you great But just be warned that if they dont youll have one hell of a time exchanging them for a bigger size or returning them. I will never try to buy anything from them again.

Very bad services average sandals

I purchased a pair of sandals from their website and it was absolutely terrible. The order took a month to arrive instead of a week and the shipping fee was 15 and even then they had put the address wrong so I had to pick it up at a DHL pickup location. The sandals were not the right size so I had to return them but there were not return labels included in the package so I could not even return them right away. Now that I have seen what their sandals look like I assure you they are expensive for no reason mine cost 195 the sole is extremely thin and clearly not strong enough to last long. The shipping service on their website is extremely bad and inefficient. All in all I would not recommend this brand to anyone.
