While initially looking for a parrot, I met a sweet bird named Are perched in the shop. Upon giving him some gentle scratches behind his head, I was promptly informed by a young lady that I wasn't allowed to pet him, even though there was only a sign prohibiting perching on the arm, not petting. Additionally, I noticed a poorly-looking parrot in the aviary alongside some small birds. The parking situation was also quite a hassle. Thankfully, my search for a feathered friend led me to Parrot Palace where I found a lovely, young, and friendly roseate cockatoo. Unlike my previous experience, at Parrot Palace, you are warmly welcomed to interact with the parrots. The staff there was incredibly helpful, and I couldn't be happier with my new companion. Needless to say, I won't be returning to Avonturia.nl, but I highly recommend Parrot Palace for anyone looking for a truly delightful bird-shopping experience.
