The medal I obtained was very good and good. I am certain that my father will prefer it. Nevertheless....the one situation I've is that one of many particulars requested was my father's years of service, which had been 1966-1971. I provided this data, however upon receiving the medal, the engraving across the facet of the medal included all service particulars provided, apart from service years. I contacted Award Medals by telephone. No reply, so left a voicemail. At the moment approx 8 weeks since my message was left, and nonetheless no reply from Award Medals. I've since spoken to a veteran soldier I work with, who suggested me that navy Medals do not need the years of service engraved onto the sting of the medal, so I am not too bothered. Nevertheless, a reply to my voicemail would have been good.
