This starkly contrasted with my previous experiences with other online retailers who delivered as promised for express/expedited deliveries. With my trip fast approaching, I attempted to cancel the order to no avail. As the "processing" continued without any sign of progress, I took matters into my own hands. I reached out to the Chicago store on Friday and purchased 2 new trunks with an additional courier delivery payment, spending approximately $25. Thankfully, these trunks arrived the next day, on the 9th. However, this left me in a predicament. I await the delivery of the initially purchased trunks, only to return them or take further action. It pains me to say that I am now out of over $1,000 due to what feels like a deliberately misleading expedited delivery policy by AWAY, coupled with additional fees. In my pursuit of resolution, I am prepared to make a claim through my credit card company if my full refund is not issued promptly.
