Bought a macerator from them

I had a wonderful experience with bc-elec.com when I purchased a macerator from them. Despite encountering some delivery issues, the product eventually arrived. To my dismay, it had a Euro plug on it, and the instructions indicated that it needed to be earthed, which a Euro plug doesn't have. Therefore, I had to fit a UK 3 PIN PLUG. However, this modification led to the macerator consistently tripping the rcd, indicating an earthing problem. Upon reaching out to BC-elec, I was disheartened when they informed me that the product was no longer covered under warranty due to the modification. They even requested that I bear the cost of returning the item for them to assess. It was frustrating to face such poor customer service, especially when the product should have simply functioned upon plugging it in.
