An Unfortunate Decline in Quality
I have been a loyal customer of Ben Sherman for years, with my partner regularly donning their iconic shirts. However, our recent experience with bensherman.co.uk has left us disappointed and disheartened. The shirt we purchased directly from the website arrived with a glaring defect – white marks marring the black fabric, rendering it unwearable. This discovery, unfortunately, came after the tags had been removed, and attempts to launder the marks proved futile. My review for bensherman.co.uk My partner has worn Ben Sherman shirts for years, but the latest we bought (direct from bensherman.co.uk) was defective – a black shirt with white marks down the front, unwearable. Unfortunately we didn’t notice until after the tags had been removed, and the marks won’t wash out. Particularly upsetting as it had been bought for a funeral. A detailed and polite email was sent, with photos, but customer services at Ben Sherman simply don’t reply. Time wasted. Money down the drain. We won’t buy Ben Sherman again. G

Terrible Customer Service
My review for bensherman.co.uk Really appalled at level of customer service. Pair of men's slippers only three months old, we paid £35. Despite very little wear, one slipper has completely completely come apart down the outside seam.. Slippers are in perfect condition other than the failed seam. Customer service claim it's wear and tear and refuse to do anything. It may be a big designer label but the quality is shocking. J

As I started to build my collection, I was quickly disappointed by the quality of certain items. The thick sweaters, scarves, and hats, which used to be made from high-quality materials, are now crafted from acrylic or acrylic-wool blends, resulting in itchiness and discomfort. Additionally, the belts, which once boasted durability, are now made using bonded leather that peels away after just a few months of wear. Despite these setbacks, I can't help but praise the brand for their exceptional short-sleeve shirts. However, I did find that the sleeves were far too tight on some of them, which was a bit of a letdown. I sincerely hope that in the future, Ben Sherman reconsiders their choice of materials and maintains the exceptional quality that the brand has been known for. Even though I've had my share of disappointments, I still believe in the potential of Ben Sherman to once again offer top-notch products that match their outstanding style. J

My review for bensherman.co.uk Warning - Jeans break after a few months. Quality of the product has significantly deteriorated over the years. I have been buying jeans from Ben Sherman since I was 18, over 20 years. The product was never that cheap, but for me the quality was there, and they would last for years so worth paying the premium. The last couple of pairs haven't lasted more than a year. They seem to have really cut quality, particularly on the zippers. They just can't seem to handle day to day use without falling to bits. I did raise the issue with them on the last one that broke (after only 11 months) as it's clearly a fault. As such I am covered under the Consumer Right Act 2015. They should offer me a refund, replacement, or repair. To be clear, I was perfectly happy with a repair. They didn't honour their obligations, and just told me as it didn't break straight away it clearly wasn't a fault with the zip. I know, it makes absolutely no sense! It was just an excuse not to do the right thing as per the consumer rights act. My personal view is what is the point of having these laws to protect to consumer if companies can just ignore them as it's clearly not worth my time to pursue. So sadly, after 20 years of great jeans I will no longer be buying this product. You can't afford to spend this amount on a product that's just going to break after a few months. D

I bought a Ben Sherman (premium brand)…
When I first decided to invest in a Ben Sherman leather belt, I expected nothing less than premium quality. Unfortunately, my experience didn't quite meet my expectations. Within just over a year, the belt started to show signs of delamination, leaving me feeling disappointed and perplexed. As someone who has belts that have lasted over a decade, I was disheartened by this premature deterioration.
