I recently visited Bobbejaanland with my family, looking forward to a fun day out at Kinderland with my 3.5-year-old niece. However, to our dismay, when we arrived at Kinderland around 13h, we found the doors closed due to a private event, without any prior notice on the website at the time of ticket purchase. This was incredibly disappointing and felt like a betrayal to us as paying customers. This closure significantly limited the attractions available to my niece, given her height restrictions, and it left us feeling cheated out of the experience we had hoped for. To make matters worse, the park was closing at 18h, leaving us with only five hours to enjoy the park, and yet Kinderland was closed well before that, at 13h. The lack of consideration for the paying visitors was truly disheartening. Furthermore, the long wait of almost 40 minutes for basic food items like fries and snacks added to our frustration, making the overall experience far from what we had anticipated from a reputable amusement park. As a result of this letdown, we have decided that our future visits will be directed towards Plopsa indoor, and we strongly advise others to do the same. It's a shame that such a seemingly exciting day turned into a disappointment, and I hope Bobbejaanland addresses these issues to provide a more enjoyable experience for their visitors in the future. Eager to treat my brother's 3.5-year-old daughter, who stands at a petite 1m2cm, to a day of fun at Kinderland, our hopes were high. This choice was specifically made to cater to her limited access to attractions due to her height. Upon reaching Kinderland around 1 pm, our happiness turned to disbelief. The doors were shut, with a private event in full swing inside. Shockingly, there was no prior mention of this closure on the website while purchasing the tickets. Had we known, we would have opted for Plopsa Indoor instead. Denying paying visitors access to a significant part of the park for a private event without any forewarning is not just disappointing but downright deceitful to consumers. To add salt to the wound, with the park closing at 6 pm, shutting down Kinderland at 1 pm, a whole five hours before closure, is beyond comprehension. Waiting nearly 40 minutes for a simple order of fries and a snack only added to the disappointment. Such lack of consideration is unworthy of a reputed amusement park. Regrettably, our once-cherished memories of Bobbejaanland have been tarnished. Therefore, our future outings will veer towards Plopsa instead.
