DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS ON HERE

My review for booking.com If i could give no stars then i would terrible service. Booked flights to go to thailand in March last year then i was in an accident, broke my legs and had to cancel. To date i havent had any money back, called loads of times and the call centre which appears to be in India give the same reason, they cant tell me anything. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE im £2500 out of pocket and its been nearly a year.

My review for booking.com Booking. Com WOW!! How are these people still in business?! Overcharging, lying, ignoring communication, these people do not value you as a customer at all! They still owe me $300! Don’t use this company if your life depends on it! Trip.com gets all my business now and all my friends family and work colleagues.

Booking.com changed the dates

My review for booking.com I booked a hotel in Costa Rica through Booking.com as it seemed impossible to book with the hotel direct. I keyed in the specific dates but the Booking.com system automatically changed them by one day after I'd paid. The system said I could change them, but then said the revised dates were unavailable and if I cancelled I would not receive a refund. I then called the hotel who said there was availability and changed the dates for me. I got the feeling that Booking.com just gave me its allocated dates with that hotel irrespective of what I wanted. I was just lucky that the hotel manager was helpful and honest.

I’ve been trying to verify my property…

My review for booking.com I've been trying to verify my property for over 2 months now and I just go round and round. Call CS they book a call with the Verification time and then I get an email to say they can't reach me!!!! No call received my end so call again and the same process. Tried to escalate but this isn't possible!! No one from CS can speak to the verification team and then when I email in a formal complaint I just get a standard, Sorry for the convenience' and then go on to explain the process that I'm complaining about. ABSOLUTELY APPAULING, IF YOU HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE USE THEM NOT BOOKING. COM

Terrible customer service

After spending several hours on the phone to customer services they could not resolve myissue, told me that a supervisor would contact me which did not happen and then my booking was cancelled by booking.com! Spent £1000 on flights with nowhere to go now a week before! Absolutely disgraceful! Will never used booking.com again!!

Never a good experience with customer seevice

My review for booking.com I’ve never had a positive encounter with booking.com CS, always they just make fake promises and then ignore you. First encounter they had erroneously double charged me, no amount of contact thru CS was able to get this fixed. Initiated chargeback with bank which booking.com appealed and said I never contacted CS! Eventually I won the claim but not without all the hassle, never even an apology from booking.com. Second encounter a fraudulent review appears under my name/account. Booking.com take no interest in investigating how this came to be or supporting with its removal. Just terrible customer service. I use booking.com as a search engine now, but expressly avoid reservations thru their platform.

Appalling Customer Sevice

My review for booking.com While we were on vacation in Italy I received an email from Booking.com about a new reservation made in Vietnam that was made using my email address but with a different name & credit card number stating that the credit card number was invalid & unless rectified, I'd be charged a cancellation fee by the hotel. It was obviously some sort of a scam. I immediately notified Booking &, long story short, followed up again with a phone call to a customer representative after returning home to the US. All of my contact with Booking ended with an assurance that I would be contacted by them in the following 48 hours. They never contacted me. Instead they locked me out of my account with them. Not that it matters as I will NEVER be using them again! Especially as I later learned (again, not from them) that they'd been hacked.

Not a good customer service

My review for booking.com Hi, we booked a so called hotel in Costa Rica from booking.com, after a night in cold room with cold water spending there with a two years old child, we decided to move to somewhere else and cancel the 2nd night, the reception was fine with it and said you need to get back the money for the 2nd night from booking.com, we contacted booking customer service and they said it’s fine and they are sorry about it. So we left, and after a week, they didn’t do anything and we can’t contact them, This is not acceptable when their agent said it’s fine and now they want to avoid paying us back. Will never use booking.com for our trips and just use google.

Double booked room

My review for booking.com I was using booking.com for years, never had any problems until now. I booked Hampshire Holiday Parks in queenstown nz. It was wrong advertise, it’s a hostel not a hotel. The service doesn’t exist. When we arrived the rooms was already occupied and we couldn’t get in touch with hotel personnel or with booking.com. With difficulty we finally found another place to stay. We had to pay 3 times more. Don’t tryst booking.com reviews. It is highly misleading.

Zero customer service and lyers.

My review for booking.com Hurricane at my destination, so I asked if I could postpone my stay and filled out the reasons why. Booking.com took me straight to cancel and deducted the full amount for my stay without any consideration. Prior to this, I opted for the cancellation through the 'contact hotel' option which came back immediately stating the hotel wouldnt accept the cancellation, when in fact I just received an email from them saying I have to contact booking.com. So someone here is LYING!!! Shocking disregard for customer service or any kind of basic rights. You have taken over £100 from me.

Kept getting emails to confirm joining and company do nothing to help

My review for booking.com SO, long story shorter, I kept getting official emails asking me to click link to confirm email address to sign up. I NEVER signed up, but kept getting more and more emails each week. Tried to contact them via website but must be logged in for them to help me... tried emailing them direct but kept getting automated emails stating to contact them via website, finally talked with someone on facebook and just wanted them to blacklist my email address.. but they just telling me to spam emails or sign up an account and then delete my account. How stupid a company does not have the ability to blacklist my email...

Very easy unless you have dogs

My review for booking.com We use Booking.com all the time for travelling around Britain, and never had a problem. Even when a lady suddenly cancelled on me and was acting weird, they immediately refunded me and sorted it out. But as someone who always travels with dogs, I am really frustrated by the hidden charges! The hotels say 'pets allowed' but if you scroll through different tabs, you'll usually find that "charges may be applicable'. And these could range from£5/night to £20! It's ridiculous. It needs to be clearly stated there! It's not always easy to contact them to get an answer in advance. And isn't the point of Booking.com that it's easy? I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be included in the info. Unless they make it up as they go...
