Davenport Iowa Camping World is Garbage
My review for campingworld.com If i could give 0 stars i would. I drove up from Texas to purchase an RV, we had negotiated everything up front. When I got there they tried adding on a $985 Prep Fee and they hadn't even cleaned or vacuumed the camper, increased the sale price of the hitch by $500, their reason for this was they didnt know my truck would require rails fir the 5th wheel hitch, then i showed the Finance Manager my text messages between the salesman and I and where i stated i did not have the Puck sytem in my truck and would need rails, he then immediately took the extra $500 off. After walking through the camper I noted a few things wrong, 1. Shower door gasket was torn(their fix fir this was to just take the gasket off, which caused the door to drop 1/4" and out of the track and to fly off while going down the road) 2. Busted vent cover in living room area 3. Water damaged trim by the front doorTold them I wasn't going to go through with the deal unless these items were fixed. They kept me there for 9 hours while the issues were being addressed. Just after the dealership closed they brought out my truck with the 5th wheel already hooked up. They conveniently locked the key to the trailer inside so I couldn't inspect anything. When I got to my destination and went to drop the trailer off the truck, they landing gear motor was seized and would not lower and the Furnace does not ignite, it blows but no heat. ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE EXPERIENCE D
