Increased the price of printing ink and…

My review for canon.co.uk Increased the price of printing ink and reduced the quantity, from 23ml to 11ml. I used to buy the 23ml capacity in the Canon PG-540XL cartridge. They've stopped selling this and I am now told that I must buy the Canon PG-540L cartridge which has only half the capacity. BAH!

I had to get a new all in one printer…

My review for canon.co.uk I had to get a new all in one printer today. I just need a basic product as its just for home use. I purchased a canon all in one printer/scanner. I am pretty competent at setting up a printer/scanner on to my home wi-fi. So I started to set up my brand new printer and followed the set up guide supplied. I was given an internet link to go to to continue set up. I went to site to find nothing I needed but a live chat box. I entered into a live chat. They requested to give me a call as this was needed to complete. Ok so I agreed (More Fool Me) Guy comes on phone and says you will be sent a link now to the live chat box. I click the link it starts a download for the drivers and the download fails? Guy says its not their printer its my PC damn in hindsight I feel so foolish I allowed this guy to enter my pc and he started going into places in my I have no idea how to open and stated I needed Norton Anti Virus for the set up to be able to complete? I feel gutted I let this guy sucker me in!! He went on a massive HARD SELL!! STATING I could never set up my brand new printer without Norton??? At this point the penny dropped I realised that canon where trying to take me for a ride. I worry now I allowed this guy to enter my pc only time will tell if I have allowed myself to be damaged by this? I told him to sling he's hook!! How could setting up a new printer be so complicated. I put the printer back in its box and took it straight back to where I bought it. I got an Epson Printer brought it home got it out the box and set it up in under half an hour NO PROBLEM So my opinion is STAY A MILLION MILES AWAY FROM CANON !!!!

I bought a brand new Canon PIXMA T8352a…

My review for canon.co.uk I bought a brand new Canon PIXMA T8352a at the weekend 2/2/2024. I set it up printed about 20 pages and the ink was showing almost out for the CYan and very low for the amount of use 20 pages. Trying to get Customer service is a JOKE. eventually got a person Sophie on the chat BOT who said Quote " When the printer is first installed, there is no ink is present in the chambers of the print head. Therefore, when the ink tanks are installed the print head chambers will automatically be filled. This is not failure it is a necessary initial sequence only when installation is carried out. Is there anything else I can assist you with? Gareth (2/6/2024, 11:57:25 AM): Yes I want some ink to last me more than 2 days of very little printing Sophia P (2/6/2024, 11:58:15 AM): You will have to replace the inks and the next ink will not last for so short period of time. Unfortunately, there is nothing else that we can advise."

AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE ……..

My review for canon.co.uk AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE ......... I tried for EIGHT HOURS to get my new Canon printer installed. Their customer service is a joke. One link takes you to another and another and another until you land up where you started. Nothing is of any help whatsoever. Loads of videos on You Tube suggests that a huge number of people are having problems. I cannot even get this thing registered and without it the installation can't function. What I have bought is something that's just masquerading as a printer. It doesn't even make a decent ornament THE WORST THING I'VE EVER BOUGHT in 76 years.

I had a tricky technical issue.

My review for canon.co.uk I had a tricky technical issue. I spoke to a young man from Greece, who was extremely helpful and patient - talking me through the many steps to resolve the issue, thank-you! I was delighted to be able to speak directly with someone so well informed. Many thanks to him and to Canon.

DO NOT BUY FROM CANON

My review for canon.co.uk Last year, I received a quote from Canon for an A3 scanner valued at nearly £3000. However, upon receiving the package, I discovered they had sent an A4 scanner instead. When I reached out to complain and request a return, they informed me I could keep the scanner or dispose of it. Despite this, Canon continued to send invoices and call my personal number, harassing me regarding the incorrect product they sent without prior notification, which violates my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Canon cashback is a scam

My review for canon.co.uk So, I purchased a new L series lens during the holiday season. Canon claimed that they would return a cashback of 260 pounds for the item that I got. Almost 2 months later, I still did not get my money and I keep getting ridiculous reasons from their customer service. Firstly, they asked for my Revolut account, I copied all the details. Several weeks later, it was rejected and they said that it was because it was a Revolut account (excuse me?). I've filled in my regular bank account. I called after a month, and apparently, I only started the process after calling customer support (the Transaction status changed to "Reissued"), they told me it should arrive in a couple of days.10 days later, I decided to call them again, now they're saying that they have some new stupid rule that I need to enter a lot of my personal data (full name, address, residence, employment, occupation, and so on), in order to proceed. Apparently, they have also forgotten to even ask me for it and only did it when I called. This whole cashback takes forever and seems like a big scam to do it in a fishy way when it's too annoying for customers to get the cashback. I was a big Canon fan until this, very disappointed, and still waiting for my money,

Don’t buy Cannon Printers

My review for canon.co.uk Bought 2 Cannon Printers the last 1 being a Pixma 3650S. The first 1 was OK. The second absolute junk. Probably printed 20 pages properly and then a whole succession of different problems. Destined for landfill! Don’t buy Cannon Printers

Unleashing Frustration: My Honest Canon PIXMA Review!

Let me share my genuine experience with the Canon PIXMA printer. There are moments when this printer makes me want to toss it out the window. Picture this: I try to print something, and the paper just refuses to feed properly. It's beyond frustrating. But here's the kicker - when I need to make a copy, it works like a charm! How is it possible to have such a stark difference in performance for basic functions? I can't help but wonder why in 2024 we are still dealing with hardware and user experience (UX) that are simply not up to par. It's mind-boggling how we're stuck with this subpar technology in this day and age. This whole ordeal has truly been a source of absolute rage for me. This genuine review comes from a place of real disappointment and frustration. The Canon PIXMA has left me feeling let down, especially considering the advancements we've seen in technology. Let's hope there are significant improvements in the future because as of now, my experience has been nothing short of exasperating.

Unraveling the Frustration: A Candid Review of PIXMA Printer

Staring at my malfunctioning PIXMA, I felt the overwhelming urge to launch it out the window. The printer stubbornly refused to feed paper during printing, yet miraculously switched to flawless performance for photocopying. How could such a perplexing inconsistency exist in a technological age where seamless functionality is expected? My disappointment with this Canon PIXMA transcends the hardware's limitations; it delves into the frustrations of its user experience and applications. As I grapple with this subpar device in 2024, I can't help but question why we're still burdened with such archaic technology and user interfaces. The futile attempts to coax the printer into proper functioning have left me seething with frustration. It's exasperating to witness a device, purportedly designed for convenience, become the source of such rage. In recounting my experience with the PIXMA, I hope that others navigating the realm of printers will find solace in this shared struggle. It's a plea for improvement, urging for user-centric designs and reliable performance to take precedence in the evolution of printing technology.

Canon’s Repeat and Save is a Game-Changer

I have been a dedicated Canon customer for many years and I cannot rave enough about the convenience and savings that the Repeat and Save service has brought into my life. Enrolling in this service has made it incredibly easy for me to receive ink for my computer without having to worry about placing orders. The hassle-free nature of this program has saved me time, stress, and additional expenses. While my experience with Canon has been largely positive, I did encounter a minor issue recently. I tried to skip my January order as per the provided instructions, yet I unexpectedly received a substitute order that was priced much higher than anticipated. This initial disappointment was compounded by the response I received from customer service, which did not offer the understanding and support I had hoped for. Despite this setback, I remain confident in Canon's commitment to customer satisfaction and the quality of their products. I am optimistic that this issue will be addressed promptly and effectively. Overall, I continue to believe in the benefits of Canon's Repeat and Save service and am excited to see how the company will address this concern. I look forward to a swift resolution and to continuing my positive relationship with Canon. Sincerely,

Canon’s Repeat and Save

My review for canon.co.uk Enrolled in Canon's Repeat and Save service for computer ink. Followed guidelines to skip January order. Not only did they disregard this, they sent out substitute costing nearly £30 more. I've emailed twice today and the only response I've had is a triumphant email telling me they're delighted my order has been dispatched 😠. Shocking customer 'service' and I'm done with them

Canon MG3600: A Disappointing Purchase That Misses the Mark

When I purchased the Canon MG3600, I expected a reliable and efficient addition to my business setup. Unfortunately, this printer turned out to be a constant source of frustration. It frequently malfunctions, leaving me with incomplete tasks and wasted time. Its ink consumption is exorbitant, adding unnecessary costs to my operations. In retrospect, investing in this machine feels like a futile decision. In my attempt to maintain seamless business operations, the Canon MG3600 has proven to be a hindrance. Its unreliability and inefficiency have led me to wish for a more durable and productive alternative. Regrettably, the hard-earned money I spent on this purchase did not result in the value I anticipated. I am left pondering whether I should have resorted to drastic measures, like taking a sledgehammer to this disappointing device. With such an unsatisfactory experience, I would advise others to explore better alternatives that align with their business needs. Amidst the plethora of options available, the Canon MG3600 falls short of delivering the reliability and performance essential for a productive workspace.
