My review for chewy.com I absolutely love Chewy as a company! I have always been able to find everything I need for my dog, who had considerable challenges later in his life. When I did have a problem with a product, Chewy has always been prompt in helping to fix it. I will never go anywhere else for any of my pets needs!

I was very excited initially to use…

My review for chewy.com I was very excited initially to use Chewy's service. The price point and autoship seemed too good to be true....and they were. From the get go (August 2023) there were issues. Our autoship was duplicated causing double charges and ongoing issues. They also required a new written RX every 3-mos and then randomly reactivated an old RX without a valid prescription and charged us. All financial issues were resolved, but all took me reaching out several times. Now I am waiting on an RX they claim to have not received after two weeks. Once I questioned this, they cancelled my order stating the weight was off by .6lbs. No adjustment, just a cancellation and we need to start the whole process over. I will gladly go elsewhere and pay twice as much to avoid this headache! As I write this, they now claim it was the Vet, but why is the Vet involved when I mailed the RX? Again way too much time and effort.

I am done.

My review for chewy.com Sitting here beyond upset, as I’m out over $700 because my order is missing thanks to FedEx and Chewy doesn’t seem interested in compensating me, which is just…insane. An item ordered was marked as delivered, despite it never having shown up. Chewy went from saying to “give it time or we’ll send a replacement” to completely contradicting and saying “we can’t because we don’t know what happened”. A picture as provided but it was left at someone else’s door. My apartment number wasn’t even on it. I was shocked. Been having so many health issues and this item was going to help ease some strain and stress with taking care of my cat - which I mentioned to them. I’ve had to file a dispute with my bank in the meantime to try and recoup my funds. I’ve also deleted my Chewy account as well after being a member for years now. I’ve heard this happening to other customers who had it solved super quickly, so it’s upsetting that I’ve had such a different and difficult experience.

Bad delivery and service

My review for chewy.com Fed Ex sent early morning email saying delivery today. I had to go to the grocery store early this morning in the pouring rain and was in the pet section and did not get food or litter knowing my order was coming today. At 10 AM I track my order - Fed Ex shows UPDATE: delivery tomorrow. The distribution location is 15 minutes from my house so it’s been sitting 15 minutes from me for two days now. I called chewy customer service letting them know I was upset about this and the only thing I was told is that if I wasn’t happy, I could return my order when it arrived - nothing else. I canceled all future shipments. FedEx is not reliable and I’m not impressed with chewy Customer Service at all. I won’t use them again. And this is not the first issue I have had with unreliability with chewy.

Insulin shipped wrong, no refund given.

My review for chewy.com I purchased insulin for my cat from Chewy. It was shipped incorrectly, spent way too long unrefrigerated and had to be disposed of upon finally arriving late. I am out over $120 US Dollars even though Chewy sent me an email saying they would make it right. That was not true. Avoid this vendor and find a local supplier, the few dollars saved are not worth this hassle or the lies.

Driver left my boxes… but Chewy showed real customer service.

My review for chewy.com I had to update this. The company sent me an email of apology, A full refund. I have to admit that was customer care and not something you see these days. As to Chewy the company and customer service good job. Driver left my boxes in the hallway by the public entrance. Not packed well cans were dented. They put the two heavier items in one box with little tape support and my guess is the box was dropped just inside the door and broken open.
