To add to the design flaws, the new door seal strip protrudes about an inch into the enclosure and leaves a considerable gap from the tiles on the opening side. This has created a challenging-to-clean crevice behind the door. In comparison to the previous design I owned, this new one fell short in terms of functionality and aesthetics. However, I did have to drill four additional holes in the left channel to secure the door properly, which was an inconvenience.
