My review for cratejoy.com Tried to purchase a monthly subscription book box. I paid $300 for a year's subscription. One box was sent with two books in it and that's it. I've tried to contact customer service and haven't gotten anywhere. So frustrating. M

Over charges
My review for cratejoy.com I signed up for a monthly box that charged quarterly then closed. CrateJoy charged me every 3 months for the program then charged me 2 months in a row for a 3 month subscription. They refunded the second charge but when the program closed down, I was still out a month worth of charges that they kept saying they refunded. They didn’t. I will never use them again and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone especially to subscriptions of more than a month. Their customer service stinks and you can’t escalate. So disappointing. R

No joy for sellers either
My review for cratejoy.com No joy for sellers either. Their extremely high fees, lack of transparency and shorted payouts have been an issue. If you reach out to customer service they can’t give any direct answers to when things will get fixed or address payout concerns. They have had no communication about issues with sellers and it’s been up to us to bring them up and I doubt they would have even addressed this had we not investigated it on our own and brought it up to them. As crappy a service as it is for customers it’s even worse for sellers. F

My review for cratejoy.com I paid for a digital gift card. They failed to deliver a digital gift card... I haven't received help for a digital gift card. They literally can't even deliver an email to someone much less a subscription. No customer service, no support. Do not purchase from CrateJoy. If it isn't a scam its hard to tell it apart from one. VERY Frustrating
My review for cratejoy.com VERY Frustrating. I gave a wrong address for a delivery for my son. The box went to that address, but was not delivered to my son. I have been trying to contact the seller and Customer Service for two weeks -with no reply to emails. There is NO phone number to call to speak with someone. This is totally ridiculous that the company/seller cannot be contacted if there is a problem. D

I can’t seem to find a way to cancel the subscription (even using the instructions they give). There is zero customer service… no phone number to call just email with an automated response. I bought a 3 month subscription for a gift! I would never had signed up for another 3 months.. if I had wanted 6 months, I would have signed up for 6 months! Took my money and I never received anything

They charged my card, sent an email saying the shipment was sent, the tracking number says Shipment Not Found, and the seller is no longer on Cratejoy. Customer service is a joke, no response through chat or email. I cancelled but I don't get a refund, they just tell me I'll stop getting books at the end of the subscription year, but I never received any of the books. S

They tell you to contact the seller, but you can’t find out who the seller is or how to contact them. It’s a complete joke! Don’t do it! P
