The complimentary filtered water available round the clock is a thoughtful touch, and having coffee and teas included was a delightful perk. The dining experience onboard was a highlight, with sit-down service alongside fellow guests at a designated time each day. Although I would have preferred a table for two, sharing a table for six turned out to be a pleasant surprise as we connected with other couples over delicious meals of exceptional quality. Exploring the stunning valleys through the included excursions was a true delight, even if it meant leaving the ship for coach or car trips. Our guide, Lourdes, impressed us with her multilingual skills and insightful commentary, despite receiving unwarranted criticism from some guests. We made a point to express our gratitude by gifting her a bottle of rose wine. The ship's amenities, including the sun deck with ample sun beds and the inviting lounge/bar area, provided the perfect spots to unwind and enjoy the entertainment brought onboard by talented local performers. The experience of navigating the locks was a spectacle not to be missed. With a selection of nice wines, ports, and spirits included in the drink offerings, I found myself reaching for my wallet only once for a drink throughout the entire week. The attentive and friendly staff truly went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt well taken care of. In conclusion, if asked whether I would embark on this enchanting journey again, my answer would undoubtedly be a resounding "Yes."
