To my surprise, the price at the checkout did not match the labeled price on the shelf. To add to the frustration, I initially chose to pick up the backpack from Fitzroy to save time, but even the pick-up process was more complicated than expected. I had to navigate through confusing emails and encountered challenges in obtaining the necessary information. In total, I sent around eight emails to address the situation, which made the entire experience more arduous than it should have been. It was disappointing to have paid for a product that turned out to be defective and then encounter further issues with the customer service and resolution process. With these challenges in mind, I would advise potential customers to carefully consider their purchase from Decathlon, especially if they cannot afford to deal with potential defects and unreliable customer support.
