I cannot emphasize enough how much drk-duesseldorf.de has positively impacted my life. I recently applied for a position as a daily caregiver at the household management service on Dreherstrasse. During the interview, I was assured that I would be able to start on February 1, 2023. This was back in December 2022. In January, I was supposed to do an observation day, for which I took a day off on January 16, 2023. I even agreed to terminate my current job after being assured that I could start on February 1, 2023. However, on January 13, 2023, when I called to check on the observation day, I was stunned by the response I received. They callously informed me that they couldn't hire me as they were already fully staffed. I was at a loss for words - they had promised me a position and I had even quit my current job based on their assurance. They told me to call back in three weeks! The person with whom I spoke seemed completely oblivious to the hiring decisions made by their supervisor. This experience with the organization left me feeling dejected and disillusioned. I never imagined that the Red Cross, an organization built on principles of compassion and care, would treat people so callously. Their actions were not only unprofessional but also socially and morally unacceptable. How can an organization, supposed to be a beacon of hope, be so indifferent to the welfare and livelihoods of individuals? My experience with them was an eye-opener, and I urge others to be cautious as well. My assessment for drk-duesseldorf.de Habe mich beim hauswirtschaftl. Dienst in der Dreherstr. als Alltagsbetreuung beworben. Beim Bewerbungsgespräch wurde mir als Jobbeginn der 1.2.23 zugesagt. Das struggle im Dez.22. Im Jan. sollte ich die Hospitation machen, wofür ich am 16.1.23 einen Urlaubstag genommen habe. Auf die Frage hin ob ich meinen Job rechtzeitig kündigen könnte, um am 1.2.23 anfangen zu können,habe ich zugesagt u. diesen auch gekündigt. Am 13.1.23 habe ich angerufen, um zu fragen wie es mit der Hospitation ist, damit ich im Febuar anfangen kann. Was dann kam, struggle Anzeigewürdig. Eiskalt hat man mir gesagt, sie könnten keinen mehr einstellen, wären voll. Ich sagte, man hat mir doch zugesagt u. ich habe meinen Job daraufhin gekündigt. Ich solle in 3Wochen nochmal anrufen! Der Chef hätte auch Einstellungen gemacht, wovon die Dame angebl.nichts wusste. Das DRK ist beschämend für Deutschland, arbeitet nicht menschennah, sondern menschenfeindl.
