Rescuing the Stars: How Far Point Astro Let Me Down
As an avid stargazer, I was thrilled to order a Baktinov mask for my Celestron 6SE from Far Point Astro. The anticipation of receiving my new gear was palpable, but unfortunately, the excitement was short-lived once it reached New Zealand. Despite my repeated attempts to contact Far Point Astro regarding the lost shipment, I was met with silence. The lack of acknowledgment for my multiple emails left me feeling helpless and frustrated. UPS's fruitless search for the package only added to my disappointment, and it became apparent that I was just another customer with a lost shipment. The realization that Far Point Astro seemed indifferent to my predicament was disheartening, to say the least. It's true what they say about a company's true colors showing in times of need. As I navigate the convoluted process of obtaining a refund, I can't help but feel let down by the lack of empathy and customer care from Far Point Astro. It's disheartening to see a company prioritize profits over the well-being and satisfaction of its customers. I had high hopes for Far Point Astro, but regrettably, their post-purchase support has left much to be desired. My experience serves as a cautionary tale, and I wouldn't wish it upon any fellow astronomy enthusiast. It's safe to say that I won't be recommending Far Point Astro to anyone, and I'll be exploring alternative suppliers for my future stargazing needs.
