While I understand that the cyclone could have caused widespread infrastructure damage, the prolonged 17-day outage left me feeling frustrated and disconnected. Unlike other broadband providers in my area, such as Jio, Airtel xstream, and Act, which were able to restore their services within 3 days, Hathway struggled to resolve the issue. My attempts to contact their technicians were met with busy signals or switched-off phones, and the customer support was equally difficult to reach. The AI diva chat feature, though touted as a convenient alternative, proved to be of little help in this situation. Despite countless interactions with their support team, the issue persisted, and each time I was asked to wait for "just one more day" for the technicians to reach me. After three days of waiting, I found myself unable to cancel my subscription, compounding my frustration. Thankfully, my experience with Hathway has vastly improved since then, and I have regained trust in their services. I appreciate their swift resolution of subsequent issues and their proactive efforts to prevent future disruptions.
