I purchased a nightgown that had a label that said it should be washed before being worn, so I did. And then I discovered there was a tear, not so much a tear, but the fabric did not reach to the seam so there was a hole. The company said that I had used and worn the gown. That it wasn’t in pristine condition. I said recieved it in damage condition when I got it. They realized I wasn’t going to let up so instead of forcing me to keep it , they were willing to give me a very stingy exchange.
