Despite our frustration and lack of proof of our original booking, we reluctantly agreed to a costly cancellation. However, the real game-changer was when we connected with Suzana Hoxhaj, who not only empathized with our situation but also waived the cancellation fee, secured new bookings, and even orchestrated an earlier departure date from a different airport! Suzana's exceptional service didn't stop there. She ensured our desired concert tickets, hotel accommodations, and, to our surprise, even had the initial cancellation fee overturned. Her patience, kindness, and dedication transformed our stressful ordeal into a positive outcome. While the overall company may have earned 4 stars from us, Suzana deserves a perfect 10-star rating! However, upon embarking on our journey in August 2022, our experience at Beatriz Playa & SPA - Lanzarote managed by Eurowings Holidays (holidays.ch) fell short of expectations. Despite not complaining about noise, cleanliness, or pool conditions, our group of five found ourselves with only four usable beds. Despite reaching out to the hotel, the tour operator, and ab-in-den-urlaub for a remedy, the response was delayed until two days before the end of our trip, making it impossible to rectify the situation. The reassurance that efforts would have been made to address our concerns earlier, possibly by relocating us to another hotel, offers little solace. The missed opportunity to address the issue promptly left a bitter aftertaste to our so-called vacation. Attempting to contact our tour guide without success and receiving no bed replacement during our stay led me to email my concerns while still on holiday, seeking a resolution that unfortunately never materialized.
