My review for idjnow.com In 2016, I was hit by a drunk driver while walking across the street. Everything changed and it resulted in being unable to stare at a screen for too long without experiencing severe migraines. Working long hours as a Graphic Designer and Art Director was no longer possible. DJing literally saved my life, and the amazing people who supported my events, and trusted me to provide entertainment for their weddings and many other special events allowed me to work for fewer hours. The only problem was lifting heavy speakers, which was required even with hydraulic lift stands. This year, after a Wedding advance, as well as selling most of my previous DJ equipment, I asked the incredible people at iDJ Now what condition their used like new EV Evolve 50 line array speakers were in, given that used DJ gear isn't something I've purchased before. When they understood why I was concerned, they offered a Brand New pair at a price that's above a used set, but well bellow the regular MSRP if I purchased them within a certain time frame. Once a second event advance came in, even though it was 2 days after their initial time frame, they upheld their original offer and sent me a perfectly packed pair with no package damage at all, despite the weight and size of the Evolve 50s. After buying both, it only made sense to buy the official padded Evolve sub-woofer covers from them as well. By this point, iDJ Now were not only reliable, but they always offered me great advice, with Amazon Prime level delivery speeds. Their in depth product knowledge went a long way in terms of quickly building consumer trust. By now, I had already purchased 4 items from them. Even the simple Evolve sub-woofer covers were sent with care, despite being made of densely padded canvas material. After that, another event came up, and it only made sense to buy the ADJ Ikon IR Projector from iDJ Now, largely because they were nothing short of incredible when it came to every order I placed. Once again, it came in quickly, brand new, and well protected from a packaging standpoint. The same event also resulted in buying the ADJ Entour Chill, which provides a dancing on clouds style effect for Weddings. iDJ Now price matched another bundle from a competing company, and they included extra high quality fog fluid, which is combined with regular crushed ice, or dry ice, to provide low lying, cloud resembling fog. Within the next few months a new pair of ADJ Focus Pros will also be purchased from them. Given how much I spent on DJ gear in a short time frame from iDJ Now, if there's any DJ equipment they have, they'll always be my first choice. The EV Evolve 50s they sold me sound fantastic, and I'm truly grateful for their offer because my DJ gear has always been kept wedding event ready, so having a new pair of the Evolve 50s offered me incredible peace of mind. The Evolves have also cut my set up time to 13 mins from 40 mins in terms of just DJing, and from 45-55 mins, to 35 mins or less, for my far more elaborate Wedding set up. The most important thing for me is how the Evolves alleviate a lot of nerve pain because they're sub-woofer is only slightly lifted from my mini cart on to the floor. The magnetic speaker column that connects to their sub weighs just under 10 pounds, so heavy lifting isn't required. iDJ Now has been truly patient, especially with all of the questions I've asked, while also being equally price competitive. This review comes strictly from my experiences, which have been nothing but positive in terms of every metric, from customer service, and product knowledge, to proper shipping and handling.
