Defective parts on range

we purchased a commercial range 5000. the rubber feet under the grates melted. the grate rings fractured. Clearly defective parts. Nothing that they can do.

Avoid Lowes for Large appliances

This is mainly a warning for Lowes purchases on KitchenAid. So far the unit is working. LOWES has exclusions in their many different policies like returns repairs price match that are not available to the public While it looks appealing that they will match a price if you find it cheaper. Its not true or vaguely accurate. Within 48hrs of purchase you must find it and report it for large appliances. I ask where does it say that In the exclusions Can I get a copy to verify Nope those are internal documents WOWYou are probably better buying from somewhere with a transparent policy on their. Possibly a smaller store that still honors real customer service. My story is on a KitchenAid dishwasher that reduced 100 within 48 hours of purchase. I called today4days after price reduction and they say nope you have to call within 48 hrs its in our exclusion policy KitchenAidplease recognize that Lowes is providing poor customer service to people buying your product. You likely have more pull that us measly peasants

2023 premature rust KITCHENAID

Bought stove and refrigerator in 2020 with 5 year extended warranty. Right away noticed rusting on doors. They replace all 3 door. LOLit would have been cheaper to replace the refrigerator. Saw on line this has been a problem for many many people. Not 4 months later rust again. The kitchenaid the insurer and CAS where I bought the appliances would not honour my request to replace or fix. I have a refrigerator that looks disgusting that is only 3 years old. TRUST ME I TELL EVERYONE Those reviews that state I used the wrong cleaner NO I DID NOT with so many people reporting the same issues can we not combine our claims and go after this companyThey are fully aware it was faulty steel coming out of China at the time.

KitchenAid Microwave Service Parts 8212 No Avilability

Purchased a KitchenAid microwave in 2019 and the control board is not working time display is unreadable. Ive checked the KitchenAid web site and various on line appliance part suppliers and there is no service parts availability. The control board is simply not listed any where that I have looked. I own other KitchenAid appliances and have been pleased with those.

2 deeply disappointing Kitchen Aid kettles both develop same fault.

The Kitchen Aid kettle that I bought was extra special as I bought it with money I was given when I retired in 2020. I loved it. Then 18 months in a small piece of copper fell off the bottom. Contracted Kitchen Aid and was sent a second beautiful kettle under warranty. Hooray. Sadly no just 21 months later the exact same piece of copper fell off the second kettle. I contacted them again. Nothing doing out of warranty. Apparently very unusual for 2 kettles to develop faults. Reading reviews here I think this isnt the truth. They offered me 10 off another kettle but honestly why would I throw good money at such a disappointingly short lived kettle. Feel I wasted my retirement gift and am back to 30 kettles which last very much longer

Absolutely horrendous customer service.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. I bought this as a present so you wont find someone about the product here. My friend who we gifted it to is happy. HoweverI had a billing issue during payment and I contacted customer support. The came back to me about a week later and their reply was not helpful at all. I replied with screenshots of my technical issues and proof of the steps I had taken with them. However by the time they replied the product bundle I wanted to buy was no longer available. They replied to me again with an unhelpful answer clearly not having read my email. Also they were mispelling my name and misgendering me not that it mattered but it is a sensitive issue and it just goes to show they dont care. I decided to buy an unbundled product same price but less products and noted that it is due to their technical issues and delays that I got less that what I could have paid for. They replied back offering a partial discount to almost match the initial offer but they changed their mind and got it back a few days laterI really do not care if they have the best mixers in the world. Customer service is part of the product and they should value it. If you are miraculously charged the quoted price at checkout still avoid.

DO NOT BUY KitchenAid

I spent over 1200 on a dishwasher and it was delivered broken. Not broken on or by delivery but internal parts that were literally broken inside the unit. There were literally parts lying broken at the bottom of the drain part. The dishwasher cannot be used. KitchenAid said they would send the parts. It has been a month and still no parts. I called their customer service and demanded the part be overnighted. They simply said no and gave me an estimated waiting time of 12 to 14 MORE days. I have wasted my money. I am now going to return it. Kitchen AID does not deserve my money or anyones money.

Buyer beware of KitchenAide products

We have a kitchenAide dishwasher. The warranty had just ran out a month before it stopped working. KitchenAide would not extend it as a courtesy but wanted me to buy an after warranty package. I have dealt with many companies who will still honour their warranty after a few months. This is the second dishwasher from them and after spending 1600 I do not expect it to break after 2 years. Thats not ok. I will never again buy KitchenAide that is known as a high end reliable company.

Double Oven Died after 2 weeks

Our newly installed Double Oven just died after 2 weeks. Called Kitchenaid and only 1 service provider available. Have to wait 2 weeks for a technician. This is unacceptable There used to be 3 support companies. Sorry that I bought Kitchenaid and would not recommend it based on this.

Still selling but can8217t deliver

These criminals are still selling online when they cant ship anything. Happy to take the money but not send the product. Really scammy behavior from a major brand. Kitchenaide have had a major IT breakdown on an upgrade. Thats ok things happen but stop selling online in the interim provide clear and regular updates to customers and respond to emails sent following up its not that hard. As I had no reply to anything sent I wasted 30 mins on hold just to be told We still have no idea when the item will be shipped and cant do anything about it. It will take between 48 hrs and 5 days to get a refund also not good enough when payment is expected instantly when an order is placed. Shop instore and buy a reputable brand. These guys are anything but.

If you phone with an inquiry they give you a long recorded spiel telling you to do it online then hang up. If you do try to do it on line there is a vast form to fill out with ridiculous detail required. I think this company does not want to be contacted. I will never again buy one of their products

Don8217t buy KitchenAid appliances

Dont buy KitchenAid appliances. We had a dishwasher that needed the motor replaced after 2 years. Our KitchenAid oven fan makes a terrible noise when baking. After 5 years we had to replace the electronic control kit evaporator cover and defrost heat assembly on our highend French door refrigerator. Complete garbage

I bought kitchenaid sauce pan that costs me over 300 and its impossible to clean the inner rim of the cover as dirt continues to accumulate. Ive reached out to kitchenaid twice asked how would they recommend cleaning the cover and did not get any response at all. Horrible customer service for overpriced products. Never again

Fantastic customer service

I am very happy with my replacement dough hook that kitchenAid kindly replaced. Natasha from their head office telephoned and promptly sent one in the post. She did explain that this was the first time that she had encountered paint coming away from the seal of the hook but was very professional kind and accommodating.
