The allure of a luxurious stay coupled with the promise of renowned golf courses set the stage for our much-anticipated retreat. While our accommodations at the Grand Hyatt Hotel exceeded expectations, providing comfort and elegance, the same could not be said for the golf courses. With a tinge of disappointment, it was evident that the once-acclaimed greens were not at their prime. The patches of diseased and lifeless areas that marred the landscape left much to be desired. Furthermore, our excitement was dampened by the unforeseen maintenance on the North course, which was revealed to us only upon arrival. My recent visit to La Manga Tennis Club was nothing short of spectacular. As part of a group of 26 players from Denmark, we embarked on a tennis retreat that surpassed all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional service and warm hospitality, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. Staying at the Las Lomas complex, we were surrounded by luxurious amenities and breathtaking views, creating the perfect backdrop for our tennis sessions on the pristine clay courts. One of the highlights of our trip was the culinary journey we embarked on each evening.
