Review Description: My son ordered a one-off magazine from Magazines Direct on 2nd December. He was promised an email confirmation within 48 hours of placing the order. Three weeks later he has still not received the confirmation and the magazine has not been received. I emailed the company on his behalf and have not received a reply. The magazine was a birthday gift for my daughter so it is especially disappointing that Magazines Direct have let us down. I really wish we had read the reviews before placing the order.

Review Description: Same as others, wish I'd read these reviews before giving this sham of a company money. Order placed on 4th December and money taken. No sign of the promised confirmation email and they now say they can't find my order despite the fact they could find it when I called last week. Reporting to the Trading Standards and seeking my money back via Paypal. The responses to these reviews from Magazines Direct are meaningless. Magazines Direct - if you actually refund me, I will be glad to update this.Update: pleased to say I have received a refund.

Review Description: I subscribed to two magazines, and should have received a £10 reward for each subscription (by Evoucher). Only received one. Have been phoning and emailing for over a month and still no reply re. missing reward, just numerous computer generated generic messages. Will not be subscribing with them again.

Review Description: Requested subscription refund on Nov. 21st 2022, four days after it was taken from my account. Was informed that it could be up to 10 days to get the refund. After 2 emails (plus one sent today, Dec.15th 2022, with reference to the Financial Ombudsman) I have had no refund.If MagazinesDirect.com reply to this, they can cut out the standard blah, blah. They are in breach of the Consumer Protection act!!

Review Description: Useless business. For everyone like me who never received their order, I suggest you charge back from your bank. They are fined for the charge back and it impacts their credit score - it’s essentially a message to the creditors that this business isn’t doing what it’s supposed to.

Tried to call customer services was waiting for over an hour and was then cut off! Have been emailing customer service and no response. Email to their help desk was returned ‘undeliverable’ after a week. Eventually resorted to phoning to be told order was never placed.
