Incompetent Customer Services

My review for marksandspencer.com I ordered a very nice tablecloth and 8 napkins; the napkins were supplied in 2 lots of 4 and were £16 for 4. Upon delivery one bundle of napkins had only 3 in it; I contacted Customer Services who initially offered me a discount of 25% on one of the bundles; this of course was no discount at all as I had effectively been charged 25% over the odds as I only received 3. I pointed this out and was eventually offered a miserly 15% discount on £16.00; I grudgingly accepted as had I returned the whole lot, I could just foresee M and S telling me I had only sent 7 napkins back! Although the quality of the product is good, I have no faith that M and S Customer Services have the most simple grasp of mathematics; I called subsequently and yet again the initial 25% discount was referred to.

Gunwharf Quays Outlet

My review for marksandspencer.com Gunwharf Quays Outlet - my first visit here and very disappointed. Small and cramped store , difficult to comfortably look around as so many people. Could not get my size in anything that I liked and that wasn’t much to be fair. No staff on shop floor to check out the back for other sizes. Self assisted checkouts were complicated but had to use as only 1 person on till and 10 people in queue. This was a Saturday too so would expect more staff. Prices almost same as your usual M&S , they had a clearance rail but was all tat and looked years old. Won’t be in a hurry to return.
