So this is the scam that this company…
My review for peoplesjewellers.com So this is the scam that this company does when you order online. I ordered a set of earrings and cost over $1700. Peoples charge your credit card a preauth transaction when they delivered the item and then charged me again another $1700 again the following day after the order was delivered. They never pulled back the preauth now I am out $1700 on my credit card in available funds. Who does this type of business anymore? I tried calling but customer service reps have no clue and they don’t even understand how to pull back a preauth and say don’t worry the preauth will fall off your card in a 6-8 days. These are underhanded services they deliver. Never order online from Peoples , worst company. G

My review for peoplesjewellers.com Ordered earrings through the store as they didn't have them in stock. In order to order them in I had to use a credit card. When they came in, they were on sale for considerably less. Store couldn't do anything but told me to contact customer service. They refused to honor sale price. TALK ABOUT SCAMMERS !
I had the most unpleasant experience with peoplesjewelers.com. After bringing in a piece for repair and requesting an estimate, I was met with two weeks of silence. Confounded by the lack of response, I tried to track the status online to no avail. Upon contacting the store, I was appalled to hear that I had supposedly accepted an estimate, which I had not even been provided with. To my dismay, there was no apology, and the blame was shifted onto the estimator. The receipt listed a hefty amount, including unexplained additional work, totaling a staggering $200. Frustrated and feeling swindled, I retrieved my piece and sought help elsewhere. To my relief, the same repair only cost me $80 at another jewelry shop. My experience was marred not just by the lack of transparency and professionalism but also by the disrespectful treatment I received from the assistant manager. This whole ordeal left me feeling not just scammed but also deeply disappointed. I urge Peoples Jewelers to invest in customer service training for their staff. This experience was a far cry from what I would expect from a reputable jeweler. I hope that others are spared from a similar experience. P

TALK ABOUT SCAMMERS !
My review for peoplesjewellers.com TALK ABOUT A SCAM- if I can give this store a minus 0, I would. I brought in a piece that needed to be sauldered and requested an estimate. Two weeks pass, no response. Attempted to track piece online in regards to estimate and nothing. I notified the store. Explained the situation and customer service confirmed that I accepted the estimate (???). I was floored. I had not authorized absolutely nothing and to make matters worse, I had NO estimate price to authorize. I have to say that at that point, no apology was forwarded and the blame was ALL towards the estimator (??). Therefore the receipt read $119 + some extra work that needed to be done * what extra work* ....brought the estimate total to $200.00. WOW!!!! I demanded my piece back and went to another jewelry shop. The same original work that needed done on the piece cost me $80. Shame on YOU, People's. Stop scamming your customers for this one will never stop foot in you store again! FYI..only a suggestion, train and educate your floor agents in customer service for the assistant manager was horrible and the way she spoke to me was beyond unprofessional and unacceptable. Disgusting! T

I was initially drawn to Peoples Jewellers because of their tempting promotional discounts, but my experience turned out to be quite disappointing. Despite the promised $50 discount and a $100 saving through Flexiti, none of the codes worked when I tried to use them for my purchase. It was frustrating to realize that the discount codes were not applicable to sale items, which felt like a deceitful marketing ploy. Moreover, the sales representative misled me by promising a 24-month interest-free payment plan for my $1500 purchase. To my dismay, the finalized agreement only offered a 12-month payment scheme, effectively doubling my monthly payments. What's worse, I only intended to spend around $800, but due to this misleading information, I ended up spending much more than planned. This experience left me feeling deceived and cheated, and I regret making a purchase of over $2000 from Peoples Jewellers. Their partnership with Flexiti only added to the frustration, leading me to believe that both companies are involved in dishonest and deceptive practices. I urge others to be cautious when considering Peoples Jewellers and to steer clear of Flexiti's financial services. My unfortunate experience has led me to lose trust in this retail and financing company, and I hope others can avoid similar disappointments by looking elsewhere for their jewelry needs. A

My review for peoplesjewellers.com Don't used this storeAl V. Friend Count 0Review Count 2 Al V. Burnaby, Canada1 star rating 12/15/2023This Jewellers will hook you into their promo discounts says 50.00 dollars off on orders but the time you're ordering the code they provide will not work saying it's does not work with sale items ,it's a ripp off, I will not recommend this store because of that fake codes for marketing gimmick pls go somewhere else except this store. And also there is a promo on flexiti as well to save 100.00 to used but it does not work either ,flexiti is another ripoff financial company. Last thing the sales lady says that if I go for 1500.00 it's 24 months no interest and after finalized everything it shows only 12 months equal payments so instead of me paying 62.00 monthly for 1500.00 purchased now its 125.00 monthly. I was supposed to buy only around 800.00 worth of Jewelley but because the sales lady says I can do 24 months equal payment no interest but end up 12 months to pay. This peoples jewellers amd flexiti it's a ripoff don't ever buy and get rid off your flexiti card if I where you. I bought over 2k in this store, never again because of my experienced and feel cheated by this retail and financing company. A

Bought lifetime warranty when I bought…
When I decided to purchase my wife's wedding ring set from peoplesjewellers.com, I also invested in a lifetime warranty to ensure that her treasured rings would stand the test of time. However, my experience with their customer service has left me extremely disappointed and my wife disheartened. In March, I sent the ring set for a routine cleaning, expecting them to return in their original state. To my dismay, upon their return, I noticed a significant disparity in the size of the diamonds on the two side bands, rendering them nearly microscopic. The customer service response to this issue was equally disheartening. They insisted that the only solution was to replace the entire set as they no longer produced the same model. This was an inconceivable proposition considering the emotional attachment my wife had developed for her original wedding ring set. To exacerbate the situation, they suggested that we retain the two altered bands and purchase the new ones separately. Ironically, these bands were part of their existing stackable collections, making their resolution seem unreasonable and wholly unsatisfactory. My wife's emotional investment in her wedding rings cannot simply be replaced, and the insensitivity displayed by the customer service team only added to her distress. As a result of this ordeal, my wife has ceased wearing her rings altogether since June. It's disheartening to witness her sentiment towards something that carries such profound emotional significance become marred by this experience. I implored the customer service to simply return the rings to their original state, a seemingly simple request that regrettably fell on deaf ears. I have photographic evidence illustrating the stark contrast between the rings before and after the cleaning, further evidence of their mishandling. I am deeply saddened by the fact that what was meant to be a routine maintenance endeavor turned into a source of distress for my wife and me. In conclusion, I urge potential customers to exercise caution when dealing with peoplesjewellers.com, particularly regarding their after-sales services. While the purchase may be seamless and the products appealing, the true measure of a company's integrity lies in their commitment to upholding the sentimental value attached to their products. A

Bought lifetime warranty when I bought…
When I decided to purchase my wife's wedding ring set, I also invested in a lifetime warranty from peoplesjewellers.com, ensuring that her precious rings would remain in perfect condition for years to come. However, my experience with their customer service has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. In March, I sent the rings for cleaning, expecting them to return in the same exquisite condition. The set comprised three rings, each adorned with equally sized diamonds. Regrettably, upon receiving the rings, I noticed a stark contrast between the main ring and the two accompanying bands. The side bands appeared microscopic in comparison, almost indiscernible to the naked eye. This glaring disparity left my wife and me utterly dismayed. My wife holds profound sentimental attachment to her wedding ring, making this discrepancy all the more distressing. When I reached out to their customer service to address this disheartening issue, their response was far from satisfactory. To my dismay, I was informed that the model of her ring set was no longer in production, and they suggested that we purchase two new bands to match the now microscopic ones. This perplexing suggestion was exacerbated by the fact that they already offered identical bands in their stackable collection. The ordeal has left my wife disillusioned and disheartened. Her once cherished rings now sit untouched, as she is reluctant to wear them in their altered state. It's disheartening to witness her emotional distress caused by this entire ordeal. The frustration of the situation is further compounded by the fact that I possess clear before and after pictures, clearly depicting the drastic changes that occurred during the cleaning process. In conclusion, the entire experience has left us deeply disenchanted. All we desire is for the rings to be reinstated to their original state. It should not be an arduous task to meet this simple request. This unfortunate episode has tarnished what should have been a joyous symbol of our love and commitment. We are sincerely hopeful that our concerns will be acknowledged and addressed promptly, restoring our faith in the integrity and quality of service that a reputable establishment like peoplesjewellers.com should represent. Bought lifetime warranty when I bought…
My review for peoplesjewellers.com Bought lifetime warranty when I bought my wife's wedding ring set ( 3 rings set)Sent for cleaning in march. All 3 rings had the same sizes of diamond on the stick. Now, the main rings looks same but the 2 side bands came back microscopic. Can barely see them. She got it back and is not at all happy with it. Called the customer service and they said: she has to change the whole set as we no longer make this model! They want us to keep the 2 microscopic diamond band and buy 2 new ones. And mind you, they have the same 2 bands rings in their stackable collections! My wife loves her wedding ring as she has deep emotional value to it and by sending it for cleaning, they ruined it or switched them. God knows.. Now she stopped wearing any of her ring since June.. she is not happy at all. you have a very unhappy customer. Just give her back the same rings.. How difficult is it? I have both before and after picture. R

Ripping Off the People
As a recent customer of PeoplesJewellers.com, I must say that my experience has been quite disappointing. Purchasing what should have been a perfectly sized ring turned into quite the ordeal, leading to unnecessary stress and frustration. After acquiring a beautiful ring for my wife, we realized that it was almost a whole size too big for her finger. To rectify this issue, we paid $225 for a resize, expecting that the ring would fit comfortably and securely afterward. However, to our dismay, even after the supposed resizing, my wife still felt uneasy wearing it, fearing that it might slip off at any moment. When we approached the store to address this problem, we were met with a lack of understanding and empathy. Instead of providing a satisfactory solution, they suggested purchasing insurance and paying for another resizing. This response left us feeling disregarded and undervalued as customers. During our discussion with the store manager, my wife was unjustly interrogated about why she accepted the size of the ring during the initial purchase. The truth is, the ring she tried on at the store was a size 7, the only one available, and we relied on the expertise of the staff to advise us on the correct size. We took the ring home and kept it in its box until our wedding day, expecting it to fit perfectly. However, even the manager insinuated that it was our fault for not trying the ring on before the big day, shifting the blame onto us. This entire experience has left a bitter taste in our mouths, and it is evident that the company's management is severely lacking in customer care and satisfaction. It is disheartening to see a reputed jewelry brand treating its customers in such a callous manner, showing no regard for their concerns and inconveniences. In conclusion, I urge potential customers to be cautious when dealing with PeoplesJewellers.com, as the service and support provided may not live up to expectations. Despite the allure of their products, the hassle and disappointment we encountered were simply not worth it. My advice: steer clear of unnecessary headaches and frustrations by seeking your jewelry elsewhere. R

Ripping Off the People
Devastated by Poor Quality and Customer Service As a newlywed, the excitement of wearing my wedding ring was quickly overshadowed by the disappointment and frustration caused by PeoplesJewellers.com. After purchasing a beautiful ring for my wife, we faced a nightmare of poor quality and irresponsible customer service that nearly ruined our special day. Despite paying a hefty fee of $225 for resizing my wife's ring from a 4.5 to a 3.75, the outcome was far from satisfactory. The oversized ring left my wife too anxious to wear it, fearing that it would slip off and be lost forever. We returned to the store seeking a solution, only to be met with an insistence on purchasing insurance and paying for yet another resizing. The lack of accountability and empathy from the staff was disheartening, to say the least. During our discussion with the store manager, my wife was unfairly questioned about her decision to accept the ring's size during the initial purchase. In reality, we had indicated our preference for a smaller size, but due to the unavailability of the correct size in-store, we had to rely on the staff's guidance. It was a decision based on trust, which unfortunately led to a regrettable outcome. The blame-shifting and lack of ownership displayed by the manager further added to our distress. The disregard for customer satisfaction and the dismissive attitude of the management left us utterly disillusioned. It was clear that this company prioritized profit over customer care, pushing unnecessary insurance and additional expenses instead of addressing the root cause of the issue. My experience with PeoplesJewellers.com was a comprehensive letdown, from the substandard product quality to the lack of understanding and support from the staff and management. The entire ordeal not only tainted our wedding preparations but also left us thoroughly disheartened. It pains me to witness such a renowned brand fall short in delivering on its promises, leaving behind a trail of disappointed and dissatisfied customers. In conclusion, I would strongly advise others to tread cautiously when dealing with PeoplesJewellers.com. The harrowing experience we endured serves as a cautionary tale against placing your trust and hard-earned money in the hands of a company that prioritizes profit margins over customer satisfaction. It is indeed regrettable to see a brand with such a storied legacy tarnishing its reputation with such neglectful practices and subpar service. Ultimately, my advice to anyone considering PeoplesJewellers.com for their jewelry needs is to proceed with utmost vigilance. The allure of their offerings may be tempting, but the potential headaches and heartaches that accompany them are certainly not worth the risk. Thank you for reading and consider this a sincere warning against the distress that this company may bring upon you and your special moments. R

Ripping Off the People
My review for peoplesjewellers.com There is nothing like wearing a less than perfect ring to destroy your wedding. People's dont care and likely use that to get more money out of you. We paid $225 to resize my wife's ring, which was almost one size too big (4.5 v 3.75). She hasn't been wearing it out of fear it will fall off. We then went back to the store and they wanted us to buy insuarance and pay for another resizing. Discussing the issue in store with the manager, my wife was asked why she accepted the size of the ring in the store. We didnt. The ring she tried was a size 7, of which they only had one ring in store, and we trusted the staff who served us about which size was right. Then we picked up the ring and kept it in the box till the wedding. But here the Manager also had an issue and asked why she didnt try it before. Blame the customer, blame the people :) This company and its management is as bad as it gets. Get the insurance because this place will give you a headache!
