Never buy a Samsung again

My review for samsung.com I've previously bought Samsung phones, I still use the Samsung Galaxy S6 for the camera which is excellent. I had an A20 and in June 2023 bought an A14 which has a camera as bad as the A20. However, that's not my main gripe about this phone - put simply it's useless. When you click on a link in a site nothing happens not matter how many times you tap, what you have to do is roll the screen up and down and then it'll link to the page. It actually performs like a phone that's about 5 years old and the battery is shot. Just after I bought it I plugged in my headphones and they didn't work (they worked in my previous 2 Samsung phones) I thought it was a problem with the phone so I took it to the Samsung store (I wrote a review of my 0 star experience there) where it transpired that this phone has a different socket, so same brand, same model i.e. Galaxy but the headphone socket is different! The tech support person in Norwich basically said tough, you bought a cheap phone what do you expect! I'm experiencing problems turning the phone off, waking it out of sleep mode aside the other problems I've mentioned. I'm going to contact Samsung direct and let them know my experience with this phone which is so exasperating I've come close to throwing it away. But the upshot is I'm not touching another Samsung phone with a barge pole.
