Review Description: I had bought tickets October 1st 2021. Never received tickets on or before the event on January 19 2022. Seller kept claiming the tickets were going to be sent in “10-15 mins” repeatably. They never were. When I did receive an email that the tickets had been processed- they had already been claimed by another customer. My seller had tried calling and made excuses as to why the seats had now changed due to covid restrictions. Not only were they completely different tickets, he changed them TWICE on me using the phrase “ I am upgrading your tickets”. There customer service representative was sent conversations I had with the seller and had also made phone to the seller as well. The customer service representative acknowledged I had been sent a fake URL to my email and that MY tickets had already been claimed by someone else. I made SEVERAL phone calls along with emails and chats trying to resolve this issue so I would be able to attend the event. I had purchased these tickets for my mother’s birthday and was completely let down. She had flown in and had got a hotel - to an event we could not go to due to the incompetence of this company and them using untrustworthy “sellers”. Did TicketSmarter acknowledge that the seller had scammed me? Yes. Did they acknowledge that the seller trying to change my seats not only once but twice was in not in compliance with how they conduct business? Yes. Was I refunded? Yes. Was I ever compensated for my mothers travel expenses and hotel costs and her birthday gift now being non existent. NO. I had requested for at least a future credit to an event of our choosing or to be reimbursed for her travel expenses and they said they couldn’t do that. So not only did we wait months to NOT receive tickets for an event, we spent more than what we got back to attend an event we never got tickets for. Absolutely disappointed and after reading reviews I am realizing I am one out of tons that had an issue with them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO PURCHASE TICKETS.
