My review for tomtom.com Had a warranty issue with a expert 7 inch, it wouldn't receive GPS signal at all. Have been going back and forth with tomtom now for over 3 weeks and still have it here. They simply don't care. Takes 2-3 days before any response on a reply to their emails. I found a contact number but they just kept saying they could not help. Customer service is non existent if you have an issue. I just keep getting told they are busy, which shows hoe bad the product actually is. I regret buying a tom tom and wish I got the Garmin instead. S

My review for tomtom.com TomTom is a hopeless company who will not engage properly with customers. I have owned stand alone TomTom navigation devices for driving, for over 20 years and there are several improvements they could make, but they don't seem interested. I actually wonder if anyone at TomTom drives. People at TomTom are difficult to get hold of and then you get junior operatives who are obviously just using crib sheets to give pat responses. Sadly, there are only Two companies, TomTom and Garmin, and both have issues and I have devices for both, only because there's nothing better. Some would immediately say google maps, but there are also some shortcomings there. Vast numbers of customers are asking for built-in SIM cards, like they used to have, and they absolutely ignore this and are pushing for tethering. I'd upgrade to a new device tomorrow if they had a built-in SIM. Instead, I have to stick with my old one - built-in SIM but only about 65% reliable as a navigating device. Obviously put too much effort into adding phone connection and playing music or something, that no one needs or wants! V
