She suggested Louis Jadot Macon Villages, Beaujolais, and Chardonnay. Armed with this list, I headed to Total Wine with high hopes. Unfortunately, my experience took an unexpected turn. When I showed the list to a salesman, I ended up with different bottles than what I had requested. The Beaujolais-Villages I received turned out to have a disappointingly bitter aftertaste, and I didn't even bother with the Bishop Pine Chardonnay. This experience left me feeling let down and frustrated. As a customer, I expected to receive the products I asked for, especially when seeking guidance from the staff. Instead, I felt misled and underserved. Given my experience, I cannot help but feel that the salesman took advantage of my unfamiliarity with the products because I am from Greece.
