My review for vacasa.com I am writing as an owner/renter. I'd take .5 star off if I could for COST, so I took one full star off. The cost of doing business with VACASA takes a lot of soul searching. In certain areas, you pay for linen fee, extra for insurance (increased insurance), 23+% and confusing costs if your home has ammenities such as pool, sauna, etc. On the other hand, when things go well - THEY ARE AMAZING! When things go wrong... stand back and saddle in. I have to say, after being dragged by my hair (figuratively speaking) by a local rep blindly defending the local manager, VACASA took to heart the feed back (not only from me) and upped their game taking some pressure off the not-paid-enough-for-their-work (100 homes to manage? please!) property managers and improved comms. I am hoping next year will go better, and that they put the not-so-charismatic "seasoned" professional out of talking to people when there are issues and putting her in the back room closet. In the meantime, I can say, my property has been kept pristine, they did meet me halfway during a construction blip and reimburse promptly when things "go missing" (silverware, cups, small things so far).
