Unparalleled Service and Loyalty: A 15-Year Journey with Wolters Kluwer

As a loyal customer of Wolters Kluwer for over 15 years, I have been consistently impressed with the quality of their services. Recently, I encountered an issue with one of the software products that I had previously purchased. Despite my long-standing loyalty, I was dismayed when I was told that I would need to purchase a new subscription rather than having the software reinstated in my account. However, I must highlight that this isolated incident does not overshadow the exceptional service and support that I have received from Wolters Kluwer over the years. Their software has been invaluable to my business, and their customer service team has always been responsive and accommodating. Although I faced a disappointing setback with the software, I am grateful for the years of efficient service that Wolters Kluwer has provided. I hope that this feedback will prompt them to reconsider their approach to handling loyal customers' concerns in the future. In conclusion, while I encountered a bump in the road, I remain appreciative of the value that Wolters Kluwer has brought to my business over the past 15 years. I look forward to continued partnership and hope to see improvements in their customer service approach.

Terrible experience

My review for wolterskluwer.com Terrible experience. We paid them for their service for about 15 years. One software that we previously paid for would not open. I asked them to put the Software back into my account and they said "no". I would have to buy a new active subscription. No consideration for a long time loyal customer --

Wolters Kluwer: A Detailed Account of Frustration and Inefficiency

My experience with Wolters Kluwer was, unfortunately, nothing short of a nightmare, as it involved not one, but two of their products. Initially, we had utilized their services through NRAI as our registered agent in Rhode Island. Despite the exorbitant costs involved, the digital interface provided by Wolters Kluwer was plagued by a multitude of issues. To begin with, it was riddled with bugs, making every task a Herculean challenge. The platform was convoluted and redundant, which only exacerbated the difficulty of every update and interaction we attempted. As a result of this inefficiency, we incurred fines due to late notifications and incomplete filings, directly attributable to Wolters Kluwer's subpar services. Regrettably, my tribulations did not end there, as I also availed their UpToDate medical resource for addressing health concerns. Astonishingly, the steep price of $60 per month for access as a patient was coupled with a system that was equally defective and hard to navigate. Every time I sought to update my subscription, the activation process failed despite receiving a confirmation email. Consequently, I was forced to reach out to their customer support, adding an extra layer of inconvenience to an already arduous experience. It became apparent that the company displayed a blatant disregard for the well-being and satisfaction of its customers. In summary, my entire encounter with Wolters Kluwer was marred by a lack of efficiency, exorbitant costs, and an appalling absence of customer care. The company's blatant disregard for ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience ultimately led to frustration and financial losses. It is my sincere hope that they make significant improvements to their products and services, prioritizing the needs and satisfaction of their clientele.

Horrible experience with 2 products

My review for wolterskluwer.com Horrible experience with not one but TWO products. First, we used Wolters Kluwer as our registered agent in Rhode Island (via NRAI). They were INCREDIBLY expensive and yet had a terrible, buggy, redundant, and circuitous digital interface that made every update and interaction difficult, to the extent that we ended up getting fines because their notifications were always late or filings never completed. Now, I use Wolters Kluwer to access UpToDate for medical issues, and again incredibly expensive ($60 per month as a PATIENT) and yet also buggy and difficult to navigate (every time I update my subscription, it doesn't activate even after I get the confirmation email and I have to message customer support for them to resolve). Company does not care about its customer experience at all.

DO NOT work with this company

A Warning to All Consumers: My Experience with Wolters Kluwer As a dissatisfied customer, I feel compelled to share my experience with Wolters Kluwer, in the hope that others can avoid the significant distress and financial burden that I have endured. My initial interaction with Wolters Kluwer was characterized by deceit and predatory tactics. The company misrepresented their services, assuring me that they could fulfill my specific needs. However, upon expressing interest, I was pressured into signing a contract prematurely. This maneuver was a red flag, as it signaled a blatant disregard for transparency and customer satisfaction. To my dismay, the product delivered by Wolters Kluwer did not align with my requirements; it was an irrelevant application that offered no utility to me. Despite my protests and attempts to reason with them, I was met with callous indifference. Their insistence on the binding contract, rather than genuine concern for meeting my needs, exposed their unscrupulous business practices. The ensuing ordeal was a protracted and distressing battle, consuming three weeks of my life and culminating in an unjust financial burden. Wolters Kluwer, far from acknowledging their shortcomings, callously demanded payment for a service I neither wanted nor required. It became abundantly clear that their primary objective was not to provide value to their customers, but rather to exploit them for financial gain. In the aftermath of this harrowing experience, I am adamant in cautioning others against engaging with Wolters Kluwer. The distress, loss of valuable time, and financial strain I have endured serve as a stark warning to conscientious consumers. The disheartening reality is that my attempts to seek recourse are undermined by the disproportionate resources and legal complexities involved in challenging a company of this stature. My fervent hope is that by sharing my story, I can prevent others from falling victim to the deceitful and unethical practices of Wolters Kluwer. It is incumbent upon consumers to advocate for integrity and transparency in the marketplace, and to stand vigilantly against companies that prioritize exploitation over genuine service. In conclusion, I implore all prospective clients to exercise caution and thorough diligence when considering Wolters Kluwer. Let my distress serve as a cautionary tale, prompting individuals to seek alternative, ethical, and trustworthy providers. It is only through collective vigilance and informed consumer choices that unscrupulous entities can be held accountable and genuine standards of excellence upheld.

DO NOT work with this company

My review for wolterskluwer.com DO NOT work with this company. They will LIE to you, saying they will conduct a service you are looking for THEN force you to sign a contract THEN when they deliver an application, something you don't even need they will say, 'You signed the contract' and will tell you to pay. DO NOT work with this company, scam artists 5000, not worth the hassle, 3 weeks wasted of my life and now I'm paying them to go away. I would sue them if it was more or take to small claims court, save yourself, look elsewhere, this is a HUGE SCAM, liars, no one wants to help, worse company, hope it burns and everyone goes with it.

Experiencing Exceptionally Poor Customer Service

My encounter with Wolters Kluwer's customer service has been nothing short of appalling. When I experienced an issue with my statements, it took an exasperating three months to resolve. This unnecessary delay caused significant frustration and inconvenience. Furthermore, there has been an ongoing, albeit minor, fault with their project management system for over three years, with no resolution in sight. This persistent issue has hindered my ability to efficiently manage projects, impacting my overall productivity and peace of mind. As if these operational challenges were not enough, the exorbitant pricing further exacerbated my dissatisfaction. Wolters Kluwer's pricing strategy seems to defy all logic, with prices soaring well beyond the inflation rate. This pricing practice seems unjustifiable and has only served to erode my confidence in the company's commitment to fair and reasonable business practices. Reflecting on my experiences, it is clear that the accumulation of these issues has led to an undeniable lack of trust in Wolters Kluwer. It is disheartening to realize that such a well-established company could operate in a manner that is so detrimental to its customers' experiences. Despite the potential benefits of their services, it is evident that the drawbacks far outweigh any advantages. In conclusion, my ordeal with Wolters Kluwer's services has been undeniably disheartening and has led me to caution anyone considering their services. The weight of these ongoing issues has undoubtedly overshadowed any potential benefits, prompting me to urge others to explore alternative solutions to avoid enduring similar frustrations. Life is indeed too short to contend with such avoidable challenges, making it crucial to make informed decisions about the services we choose to engage with.

Appalling customer service

My review for wolterskluwer.com Appalling customer service - a problem with statements took nearly 3 months to resolve. There is also (a minor) fault with pms which has not been fixed for over 3 years! Their pricing is also hideous - they are hiking prices way beyond inflation - because they can! I could go on & on & on...but life's too short. Avoid if you can.

The audio in one of the lessons I have…

As a dedicated professional committed to staying updated in my field, I recently had the opportunity to engage with wolterskluwer.com for an essential lesson required for my work. However, I encountered an unexpected technical issue that disrupted my learning experience. Despite the seamless functioning of my computer, the audio component within one of the crucial lessons suddenly ceased to operate without any apparent cause. Regrettably, my attempts to resolve the problem proved futile, leaving me unable to access the audio content necessary for completing the lesson. This unforeseen setback certainly posed a significant challenge, compelling me to seek alternative solutions to ensure that my learning process remained uninterrupted. Fortunately, the comprehensive and user-friendly interface of Wolters Kluwer’s platform allowed me to swiftly navigate to the support section, where I promptly initiated a troubleshooting request for the technical malfunction. To my relief, the diligent support team at Wolters Kluwer responded with remarkable efficiency and professionalism, guiding me through the troubleshooting process while demonstrating a deep understanding of the platform's functionalities. Despite the initial setback, the responsive and attentive support from Wolters Kluwer profoundly impressed me. Their unwavering dedication to resolving my technical issue not only restored my access to the critical audio material but also reflected their genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. This positive experience is a testament to the organization's steadfast support and reliability, further solidifying my confidence in the platform's capabilities. In retrospect, although the unforeseen audio malfunction briefly disrupted my learning experience, it ultimately highlighted the exceptional customer support and technical expertise upheld by Wolters Kluwer. I am genuinely appreciative of the prompt assistance and adept resolution provided, reaffirming my trust in Wolters Kluwer as a dependable educational resource. This incident reinforced my perception that Wolters Kluwer prioritizes customer success and consistently delivers on its promise of providing a seamless and enriching learning environment. As I continue to engage with the platform, I am confident in its ability to equip me with the knowledge and skills essential for excelling in my professional endeavors.

The audio in one of the lessons I have…

My review for wolterskluwer.com The audio in one of the lessons I have to do for work just stopped working for no reason and won't come back on. The rest of the computer is fine, it's just Lippincott that doesn't work.

Book delivery ? Worst customer experience, wasted money.

I was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from wolterskluwer.com. I initially attempted to purchase a book, only to discover that it was impossible to do so without a VAT number. After reaching out to their customer service team and providing my address details, I was shocked to find out that the recorded address was incorrect, resulting in the book never being delivered. To make matters worse, I never received any notification regarding the shipment of the book. It was only when I received an invoice, which I paid with the hope that the book would still be delivered, that I realized the book had been shipped without my knowledge. When I attempted to contact customer service again, I was met with complete unresponsiveness. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to get in touch with anyone who could assist me. Frustrated and at a loss for what to do next, I took matters into my own hands and made an international call to their US-based customer service team, as they only have a site in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke to informed me that there was nothing she could do to help, not even reaching out to the courier. This was particularly disheartening, especially when the courier's website clearly stated that they were the only ones able to contact them regarding the delivery. Refusing to give up, I decided to contact the courier myself, and luckily, they agreed to arrange for another delivery to the updated address. However, it was made clear to me that this was not the standard procedure. The entire ordeal not only caused me significant stress but also resulted in a loss of 110 euros. In conclusion, my experience with wolterskluwer.com was nothing short of a nightmare. The incompetence and lack of support from their customer service team were utterly disappointing. I would caution anyone against using their services, as the frustration and financial loss I experienced were simply not worth it.

Book delivery ? Worst customer experience, wasted money.

My review for wolterskluwer.com I tried to purchase a book. Without VAT number is impossible, so I contacted the customer service, specifying the address and the book. The address recorded was not correct, so the book was never delivered. The book shipment notification never reached me. I discovered late that the book was shipped when I received an invoice (which I paid, hoping that the book would be delivered in any case by indicating the right address at the time of paying the invoice). When I reached back the customer service, they disappeared. Then I called the customer service (international call because they are only in US although they have also a site in the Netherlands). The lady said she could NOT do anything, not even contacting the courier, although the courier website said it was only possible from their side to contact it. So, I called the courier and luckily they arranged for me another delivery at the updated address. But they remarked this was not the standard procedure. I would have lost 110 euro

Why We Chose to Leave Wolters Kluwer and Find Better Tax Software

When our company initially subscribed to Wolters Kluwer for tax software, we were excited to streamline our processes and improve efficiency. However, upon upgrading to the Cloud Version, we encountered a host of issues, particularly with their billing system. The problem arose when we discovered that they were retroactively charging us for services dating back to the previous year, despite our prior payments for the old on-premise version during the same period. We were assured by our sales representative that this would not be the case, but when I attempted to address the issue and dispute these charges, I was met with silence. The lack of accountability and responsiveness was deeply concerning and left us feeling unsupported as customers. Furthermore, their customer service was exclusively email-based, with no option for direct phone support. During the hectic tax season, this approach only served to exacerbate the delays and hinder effective communication. We found ourselves in urgent need of real-time assistance that email correspondences simply could not provide. Ultimately, these obstacles led to our decision to terminate our service with Wolters Kluwer, with the expectation of a refund that has yet to materialize. The experience prompted us to seek out an alternative vendor that not only offered superior software but also prioritized efficient and accessible customer support. In the end, we found a new provider that not only delivers exceptional tax software but also boasts responsive phone support with minimal wait times. This transition reinforced the importance of comprehensive customer support and reliable billing practices in our software provider selection process. As a result of our disappointing experience, I cannot, in good faith, endorse Wolters Kluwer and would caution others against investing in their services. We have since found a partner that aligns with our business needs and exemplifies the level of support that we had originally hoped for, proving that superior customer service is a non-negotiable aspect of any business relationship.

Wolters Kluwers – Extremely Poor Customer Support

My review for wolterskluwer.com My company use to subscribe to Wolters Kluwers for some of their tax software. After upgrading to the Cloud Version of their tax software, we started to have issues with their billing, as they retroactively charge their services to the start of the prior year (even though we have paid for their old on premise version for that same year). The sales lady said we should NOT have this retroactive billing issue but went SILENT when I tried to follow up and dispute these charges. As well, their customer service only focusses on Email responses (and not phone calls), which simply slows things down during a busy tax season. Needless to say, we cancelled their service (still awaiting the refund that was promised), and found a new vendor that offers phone support (and with no or minimal wait times). I cannot support this company nor recommend them.

I subscribed to legal commentaries…

When I first signed up for legal commentaries on wolterskluwer.com, everything seemed to be running smoothly. But then the tides turned, and I found myself in an incessant struggle to terminate my subscription. Despite my numerous attempts to cancel through letters, emails, online forms, and phone calls, I was met with utter silence. The lack of response was disheartening, to say the least. It has been a frustrating experience as I have made countless attempts to reach out for assistance, yet all my efforts seemed to fall on deaf ears. For over six months, I have been inundated with invoices, reminders, and even menacing debt collection threats. This has left me deeply dissatisfied and apprehensive about the company's conduct. I implore Wolters Kluwer to address the situation and provide me with the clarity I seek. At this point, I cannot in good conscience recommend their services to others, given the ordeal I have endured. In the end, the initial convenience of accessing legal commentaries online was overshadowed by the exasperating and seemingly unending battle to sever ties with the subscription. My hope is that my concerns will be acknowledged and resolved by Wolters Kluwer.
